After using this lip balm for 3 days, it has accomplished what no other lip balm of the 8 I tried in the past several weeks, as well as olive oil, coconut oil, rosehip oil, ghee, and manuka honey, were able to do. I believe it's because it has no bee products, including beeswax, honey, or propolis, no fragrance or flavor, and the oils in it are usually well tolerated and very healing and moisturizing to the skin, especially sensitive lip skin. I had Moh's surgery for skin cancer removal at the base of my lip. The lip was very severely traumatized due to being pumped with fillers to stop the lip bleeding out, and lots of stitches. After the wound closed, the lip became very dry, cracked, peeling, and painful to eat, smile and talk. I tried everything to soothe it, nothing helped, everything made it worse, except finally, 6 weeks later, right before I found this balm, I found unrefined shea butter coated lightly with Vaseline helped a lot. However that was messy to apply. This balm is wonderful and works. It is protective, healing, soothing, moisturizing, emollient, glides on smoothly, and stays on a good amount of time. I highly recommend it for anyone, but especially those who have sensitivities and find most lip balms don't work and cause more problems.

This lip balm set is INCREDIBLE! I'm experiencing very dry lips due to Accutane and discovered I'm allergic to petroleum. Looking for petroleum free lip balm was a challenge but I found this listing and made the purchase, and it was the BEST decision I could have made. The formula is super nourishing, giving your lips immediate relief and beautiful shine that lasts hours. The scents are also very pleasant and fade after a few minutes of wear. And I'm sure I sound like an infomercial at this point but I can't help but rave about this because it is that good. I'm down to my last stick and WILL be purchasing again, highly reccommend for those with dry lips!

Amazing! I highly recommend this product! I absolutely love: 1. That this product is vegan. -Animals shouldn't be hurt just so I can have nice lips. 2. The amazing scent options of this product and that it is scented with essential oils. -Key Lime and Tuscan would have to be my favorite out of this set. 3. I love the simplicity of the ingredients. 4. The fact that there is no coconut oil in this product. -Coconut oil is used in most toiletries and beauty products these days, even though many people are allergic to coconut oil. My boyfriend is allergic, and if there's one product I should avoid with coconut oil, it is lip balm. If I kissed him with coconut oil lip balm on, he would have an allergic reaction. So thank you, Pure and Simple, for using quality alternatives to coconut oil. 5. It can be used as an emergency moisturizer. -I forgot to apply moisturizer to my face the other day, and my skin was flaky in several spots. I was on my way to work and didn't know what to do. Then I remembered my lip balm. I applied a little to the flaky spots on my face and my face looked great all day! 6. The price. -This is worth every penny. It is very well priced, and you get a lot compared to other brands for your money. It was a fantastic choice, and I don't know how other brands of quality lip balm can compete with Pure and Simple.

This makes my lips so soft and supple without being too sticky for my long hair. It goes on smooth and soaks into my lips nicely to give them elasticity long after the lip balm dries. I live in the middle of a desert with desert heat, and have to work in a facility that retains the heat during the summer days, so a product that prevents cracks long after its applied is a great relief to my mouth. My only disappointment is that I searched for a long time to find a vanilla scented lip balm because I wanted to have vanilla through the day, and I am sad to say that while the quality of the lip balm is nothing short of absolute excellence, the smell and taste of vanilla is not there. It is a slightly sweeter smelling verson of plain lip balm, but it is not vanilla. The lip balm package advertises as. 'essence' of vanilla, and if they were talking about vanilla's ghost-- it is excusable, I suppose. If you are looking for strong vanilla however, I am sad to say that this is not it. If you want soft, supple lips that won't break then this is a fair compromise for the frankly disappointing and nonexistent smell. I might buy these again when i have finished mine, but I will have to look elsewhere for the vanilla I crave.

I like all of the different “flavors” except for the “rose” version. It smells like perfume someone in my past wore. The rest of the scents are quite pleasant. The consistency is more like an oil than what I’m used to (thicker, like chapstick). These are nice, but I would like to find a lip balm that has more of a moisturizing quality than these.

Great vegan lip balm. Keeps lips shiny and moisturized. It’s healing and long lasting. Would definitely recommend to anyone who cares about chemical free skin care. Superb quality!

Alida Pure lip balm was a lifesaver for my lips! I tried many things till I found them here and read the reviews . I got them like six months ago, I used them every day like four times a day,and I just reordered them recently. I really love this product and I highly recommend it.

After using it for a while my lips became more chapped and the skin inside my mouth near my lips felt irritated. I must be allergic to the unscented Alida Pire lip balm. Pity I bought 5 tubes of the stuff last October. Nivia works much better and does not irritate me.
