This is especially great with this fantastic series, since the story of this mad family does not follow a monotonous repetitive story, but the family does actually evolve and change over time which is great since it is not predictable or boring. If you bought the individual series and watched them out of sequence, you are likely to end up confused and disappointed.The box set provides for MANY funny hours, and often gets close to home (like a real family). Every member of your real family will have someone in this comedy that they can identify with or laugh at. All in all, your entire family will enjoy great British family humour. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ brings the family together *by G***0 on 16 October 2010* This is the only thing that brings my teenage son out of his bedroom into the living room apart from dinner, so five stars just for that. I love this series, it is cosy, funny and so Insightful all at once. I try to work out who is my favourite actor/actress but just can't, they are all brilliant in their own way. Thank you Zoe and Robert for staying with this and producing such all round family comedy and great characters. What a star is born in Gabriel Thomson and Daniela plays a teenager who feels no guilt whatsoever for her pure selfishness! I highly recommend this as a DVD collection essential.
