I have a 13 year old cat who I've stopped giving the Solensia shot to after a bad experience at the vet. For some time, Solensia did well for arthritis, but after about 8 months of use, my cat started getting sicker and sicker each time after the monthly shot. The Cosequin pills are rather large but they're made to pull apart and sprinkle on top of wet food which is super easy. My cat hasn't been on this for long--maybe two weeks--and I know it takes time to build up. Right now, he's probably in the in-between with the Solensia shot fading and the new pills kicking into gear. He's still sassy and runs around doing zoomies, and I'm thrilled he's still keeping up with that.

My cats are 15 years old and we're starting to move stiffly. I started them on this several months ago. Within a week, I started noticing less stiffness. They move even better now. This has really been great for them! I mix it in with some canned cat food. Never had an issue with them eating it.
