I had previously used the 11-518s as a co-worker was getting them from somewhere and gave me pairs from time to time. These are a lot less expensive and just as good. The grip cushion actually feels a bit thicker on these than the 11-518 but it really doesn't hinder my dexterity. Having gloves for me is a must, I work with boxes all day, including opening them up and these protects my hands from cuts and abrasions. I have to quickly grab slick plastic packages and these help with gripping them easily with little fatigue on my hands as well as retaining the dexterity to handle and bag up individual bottles of medicines, sponge packages and the like.
