Black Voyage Reusable Vacuum Compression Travel Bag for Carry-On Suitcase and Backpack, Recycled IP67 Waterproof Space Saver Vacpack (1-Pack, 41L - No Pump)

I was pleasantly surprised by how well presented and high quality these Black Voyage Reusable Vacuum Compression Bags are right out of the box. Each one comes neatly packed in its own protective sleeve, and the attention to detail is clear from the sturdy zippers to the clean minimal branding. The material feels thick, waterproof, and durable, with a premium textured finish that gives you confidence it’ll hold up well for frequent travel. The zippers are tight (as mentioned on the included tag), and works well. Once sealed and compressed, it keeps air out completely. The compression performance is excellent. I was able to fit clothes and jackets that would normally fill most of my carry on and still had room to spare. The valve system is simple, efficient, and adds to the sleek, modern design. I also bought the Black Voyage backpack, which comes with the pump. While these bags work perfectly fine without it, the pump definitely makes the process faster and easier. What I like: *Excellent build quality and waterproof material *Thoughtful packaging that protects the bags and looks great *Easy to use once you get used to sealing it properly *Saves a ton of space in your luggage *Reusable and eco-conscious design A few small things: *The zippers are very tight at first, though they ease up with use *Without the pump, manual compression takes a bit more effort though can use a vacuum cleaner Overall, this is a well made, stylish, and practical travel accessory that delivers on its promise. It’s clear that care went into the design and quality. If you travel often or just like to keep your packing neat and efficient, this is a great addition to your setup.

Update to previous review: I have updated my rating to 4 stars because the customer service with this company is top notch. They reached out to me after my initial review and they were so quick in their responses and diligent in working out a satisfactory solution. I tried the vacuum bags out weeks before my trip so I could see how they work. I bought the 41L for carry-on. I was able to put 8 pairs of shorts with 8 tops, 3 dresses, 3 swimsuits, a beach cover-up & all my undies. The bag still had some room so it wasn't too tight to zip. All of this fit into my carry-on without the vacuum bag but it was full. Not much room for shoes or toiletries. When I deflated the bag it probably compressed about 3 inches. Nothing like the photo as advertised. If you look closely at slide #6 it is very misleading but what I didn't notice until after purchasing was how it says the before is 10 inches and the after says 8 inches when clearly there is a much larger difference than 2 inches in the images presented with those measurements. That is why I am rating only 3 stars. I was tricked but my fault for not realizing the false advertising before I bought it. The compression does make a difference though and with the vacuum bag I can probably add a few pair of sandals and still stay within carry-on guidelines. I'm sure I can also stuff some toiletries around the edges. I will most likely keep the bags because I don't want to check any luggage but there is no way you can get twice as much inside a regulation carry-on . Also, I do not think that if I were packing larger winter clothes that these bags would fit as much as they claim. Another thing to mention is that after 19 hours my clothes were only slightly wrinkled. Not as bad as I expected however my expectations were based off of the misleading photo presented. Other notes: there seemed to be no air leakeage after 19 hours and I had no problems with the zipper. Material quality seems pretty good too.

Love this bag! I’m a solo traveler who has been looking for better ways to pack, especially for when I traverse different destinations with different weather in the same journey. For example, a couple summers ago, I went to a music festival in sunny and warm Croatia but also spent some time in chilly and rainy Belfast, NI. I’ve used plastic vacuum bags in the past for when I need to take warmer and bulkier layers, but they often don’t last, and start to leak. I’ve only just got this Black Voyage bag but it works similarly to how my Airback backpack works. I like that it’s a standalone bag, and the zipper is high quality, you just gotta make sure to pull it shut tight. It also has a nice design that fits my style. I’ll be taking this on a 3-week trip to Southeast Asia in a week. I’ve included many pics to show how many clothes I laid out on my bed ahead of time, how it all fit in a Medium size vacuum bag before deflating and how it looked after deflating in my carry-on Antler suitcase. I did find that my suitcase could barely close and I couldn’t fit much else other than my MacBook Air in the suitcase, so I may take out some clothes, BUT consider that I was able to fit the following into the bag (all pictured): 2x pants, 1x running leggings, 3x linen shorts, 1x jumpsuit, 1x PJ pants, 4x short sleeve shorts, 1x long sleeve shirt, 1x lightweight denim jacket, 1x sports bra, 4x underwear, 3x paka socks. Can’t wait to take it on my next trip!

Very impressed with the quality of the bag, and how secure and long-lasting it feels. Excited to give this a try for an upcoming extended vacation where I'm only bringing a carryon!

I am a bigger guy so my clothes are large. These bags are perfect with the all the checked bag fees! Definitely recommend picking these up. Would definitely buy again.
