The zippers are tight (as mentioned on the included tag), and works well. Once sealed and compressed, it keeps air out completely.The compression performance is excellent. The quality of the bags actually seems very good and they feel well made. Unfortunately, I can’t even test how well they compress because no pump is included.I realize the listing does say “No Pump,” but I missed that and assumed that for $84.99, vacuum compression travel bags would include what you need to actually use them.I bought these specifically for an upcoming trip, and now I can’t use them unless I purchase a pump separately. Very disappointing, especially at this price.

So I just got back from a New York Christmas trip (carry on only with winter clothes for the snow) and actually put it through the test.Firstly, so glad I got it. Packing the bulky winter jackets and jumpers was already a stretch to fit into only carry on, but that’s why I got this suitcase with the vacuum seal so I could compact everything. Literally went down by half its size and I put 1 winter jacket, one wool sweater, one thick wool jacket and my scarf, beanies and gloves in there. So well done!Secondly I wasn’t quite sure what the metal bars were for on the top and bottom of the bag, but once I was getting it in and out of the back of the uber and the carry on bulkheads of the plane, it made so much sense and was actually a game changer. My wife is pregnant and so it made it really quick and easy to manoeuvre up and down whenever we needed to. So awesome accessory I wasn’t expecting anything of.Lastly the wheels and the other accessory I didn’t read about before purchasing to lock the wheels in place were great, especially on the train from New Jersey to New York. The wheels felt potentially better than our rimowa carry on and being able to lock them in place on moving trains so they don’t roll around was really helpful.Overall very happy with the purchase and hope this is a helpful review for anyone!
