It is sturdy, durable, and works beautifully on its own, but I especially love using it as the base underneath a smaller decorative doormat. The black color and simple border give it a clean, classic look, while the larger size helps frame the top rug and makes the whole porch setup look more finished. It stays looking nice through regular use and gives the entrance a polished, layered appearance. I am very pleased with the quality and would purchase it again.
