Good Product

Works as advertised. Must have for beginners.
Good for beginners who don't have confidence or the muscle memory to start an arc. The glass goes dark as soon as the arc starts. This makes it easy to position the electrode in the right spot. I did not have any comfort issues as written by other reviewers. However, using it for long durations is not ideal. A full face welding helmet is advised for long use cases. Lastly, do not forget to wear a mask or cover the rest of your face while using these glasses.

Does its job efficiently - Auto darkening and wide angle view with air circulation
While it is not so comfortable to wear, but it does its job best. my eyes never tired seeing the welding arc after wearing this glass. I strongly suggest to try this out, but for comfort ability you could put this solar glass in the helmet as suggest by other reviewer (Sandeep.K). Cons: The frame is not of good quality. it broken after falling from height of 6 feet ( after several fall..) Once it falls , the Panel stops functioning even though there were no cracks. I asked Seller to replace me one.

WORST DESIGN EVER :( Please DON'T BUY
What is the use of this product if it does not cover eyes fully from welding rays?? Yes this product sucks, it won't stay on nose, the things that should be holding the goggles on nose doesn't even touch the nose, and the lower eyes portion is fully opened, thus entering the lights directly to youe eyes. The glass is fine and works well, ie, darkens when high light hit the solar sensor on the goggles. But the frame is what I'm talking about, who in the world has designed the frame?? For sure the frame is made not for HUMANS, For 839 i bought this, doesn't make sense. Guys should fit the same glass on a better frame and sell again, I'm sure it will be the best product. Otherwise please don't buy. You'll definitely regret.

Perfect Autodarkening Goggles for the DIY hobbyist.
This product is absolutely fine for the DIY welder. Glass darkens in a fraction of a second after arc is struck. Pre-darkening transparency of the glass is good. Many are complaining about it being flimsy and uncomfortable to wear. I disagree with that assessment. I wear spectacles, and these goggles sit perfectly on top of my spectacles and there is no discomfort at all. This product works beautifully and it is a must for the beginner. It will make you a hero from zero in no time in arc welding. Buy it without hesitation if you are a DIY welder. It is great value for money. Go for it.

A beginners delight
As a beginner in welding, you need all the help you can get, i have a local full face helmet with dark flip glass but found it cumbersome to use. This item has it drawbacks, the build quality is poor. the plasttic is fragile, there is no controls for time delay or increasing darkness strength. but I admit its instantaneous, turns dark as soon as the arc lights up. I tried using it inside my helmet but there was a delay, so using it as a normal glass. Do take care as the UV light and fumes will burn your skin, thinking of a jugaad to fit it on my helmet. 1 more thing the glass flickers during the evening and in low light . maybe due to low sunlight i dont know ,will update later. Edit -- I ama hobbyist used just 3 or 4 times after buying it , now after a year when i checked its busted , remains dark even after welding is stopped, brightens during welding causing eye strain , becomes dark and stays like that for sometime and so unable to see the starting point.. The ibell helmet is a better option now cost just rs1150/..

I am loving it
I have read lot of reviews that it is uncomfortable to wear, yes it's very uncomfortable but it does the job. I have used this coninuosly for 4 months still now no issues. I heard that I will stop working if the sweat water enters it so I was very careful that I don't sweat in this, but even though sometimes dur to lot of work i get careless and sweat enters this glass but no issues for me still. I droped this glass twice one of my earpiece has been broken, but it is completely my mistake. I have done three projects with this, in that one project is big, that is to make shed in my roof for 2500 sq ft. Welding glass still working fine.
