It was very easy to install with no leaks on the first try. The instructions say not to use plummer's tape so don't bother buying any with this model.I didn't use the water saving flow restrictor (included, but optional) but I might need to install it because this shower head puts out a LOT of water! It gives a soft gentle shower so if you're looking for a strong massaging shower head this may not be for you. It is, however, very relaxing and the water stream covers a large area. I wish there were finish choices because the chrome look does not go well with the brushed nickel finishes in my bathroom. Then I noticed it was leaking near base where I attached to existing shower pipe. Re-applied with plumbers tape but this didn't solve the problem. Took a closer look and the shower he as was leaking from flex joint. Again tried to re-align a and tighten but just keeps leaking. Of, course i can't return product due to being out of return window. Product is now sold out and can't contact seller. Just wasted hard earned money and not happy about this.
