Chair appears well made and sturdy. It works well for its intended purpose, which is to maintain muscle tone and joint flexibility. You won’t build buldging muscles, so you shouldn’t expect that result. With ten elastic bands available, the resistance should fit most of us. For complete body workout, add-on pulleys are available.

After much thought and reading other reviews, I decided to take the plunge and buy the value pack Resistance Anchor Cables 4,6,7,8,9. I bought the Reistance Chair(used) at another online outlet and with the extra anchor cables they included with the chair and the Value Pack I purchased, I have a complete set of all levels.I am a senior with two bad knees who really enjoys strength training with the chair and having the complete set of extra cables makes it so that I don't have to switch between upper and lower anchor cables.Both the chair and anchor cables are high quality products, good value, and they do what the manual and CD promises.

The cables that come with the chair are too weak. Best buy is to get the complete set in the box for $50. Cheaper than paying $30 a cable for the higher resistances. You'll need to get two boxes.

Not sure if I really needed these. It seems that they are the exact same thing that came with the chair. But that's fine. With a few people using it I think we may wear them out. But they do seem pretty sturdy and should last a long time.

Chair set comes with two sets black, one set blue and one set yellow. You really need more cord sets. This box only comes with one set each color (4,6,7,8,9). You may/probably need two sets of every color. One box is okay if you don't mind swapping any one color between top and bottom. I bought two boxes which gives me enough for any color for top and bottom. You most likely will need to buy more cords sooner or later.

haven't used yet, building up with straps that came with chair before moving on to more strenuous exercising before using heavier anchor cables

Easy to attach to a sturdy surface, provide a variety of stretchiness, just what I ordered! May need to find some stronger ones after I build up some muscle.

The item is a perfect addition to the resistance chair because it provides a range of resistance not provided with the resistance chair. The value is much better then purchasing these cables seperately. The cables are easy to change out on the chair. The order arrived in great condition and in a timely manner.
