The ultimate premium motherboard for an all-white AM5 build
This board is a dream if you're putting together a high-end whiteout system. Gigabyte actually made the entire PCB white, not just the heatsinks, so it looks incredibly clean inside the case. Performance is flawless, the Wi-Fi is rock solid, and it has more than enough USB ports on the back panel for a full streaming or gaming setup. The best part, though, is the toolless M.2 slots and the quick-release latch for the graphics card—it makes putting the PC together or upgrading parts down the road so much less frustrating. Just a heads-up when building, the heatsinks around the top are pretty thick, so route your CPU power cables through the top of your case before you screw the motherboard completely down. It'll save you a ton of finger cramps.

Awesome
Absolutely love this motherboard, clearly labeled more options for everything you need then you will ever need if that makes sense and performs as expected

Looks great, performs even better
This is a top quality board. Excellent power delivery and superb VRM heatsinks. All the usb and usb c ports you could ever need. Wifi7 and 5Gbp LAN port. Easy latch for the GPU is so convenient for you tinkerers out there, makes is much easier to release the GPU. The best part about this board is the nvme heatsinks, especially the primary gen5 port. If you aren’t aware gen5 drives run extremely hot compared to gen4. Thermal throttling is a very real concern. Spend all that money on gen5 you would want to get all that speed. This board dropped my gen5 nvme by 10c! Amazing. Has all the features you could ever want and in a package that’s perfect for any case that has viewing window.

Really Excellent Motherboard from Gigabyte - Aorus X870E X3D Pro Ice
I decided to upgrade from the previous Aorus X870E Pro Ice, as this new refresh has a number of real improvements that I was interested in. To be sure, this is a much superior Motherboard, while still having that all white presentation. Some of the upgrades are as follows: Larger capacity on the BIOS chip for current and future CPU requirements, (X3D) Went from 6 layer to 8 layer PCB Now has an internal HDMI port Much more robust VRM and Heatsink. Now has Start and Clear CMOS buttons on the IO shield in back. Metal Backplate now included. Magnetic latches instead of clip on latches for the M.2 placements. Additional power plug for Graphics power draw on Motherboard. The original Motherboard was pretty good, but this is even better. I am running the Ryzen 9 9900X with 2 Modules of 32 Gb RAM at 6000, or 64 Gb of RAM. Currently, the way this Motherboard is spec'd out, and now on Sale, it represents incredible value versus some current offerings from the Competition. I have used them all at one time or another. Gigabyte seems to be doing very well on the X870E execution, and I have been pleased with a number of the AMD 5 Motherboard offerings from Gigabyte. This Motherboard fired up with no issues whatsoever, and I updated the BIOS to the latest version. I want to add that this is the absolute heaviest Motherboard I have ever used, including some EATX Motherboards I have used in the past. Man, this thing is really heavy. I was very surprised. It should be noted that there is only one PCIE Gen 5 X16 for Graphics, so you cannot utilize 2 Video Cards in tandem. I personally like this, as I will not be using 2 video cards, and I like the additional PCIE slots, (1 Gen 4 at 4 lanes, and 1 Gen 3 at 2 lanes), as I do use add in cards. I am using a Sound Blaster Sound Card, which is better than any onboard sound that I am aware of, bloated drivers be damned, and I have one slot left for another add in card should I need it. I want to add that the Gigabyte GCC software to use for the RGB now seems to actually be pretty good. Using it in the past was a nightmare, and the software was garbage. I am still not sold on making BIOS changes from the OS, but to each their own. I will also add that the RGB LED lighting under the heatsink over the VRMs is a bit more muted and subtle than the previous version. I actually thought it was not working, but it is, and just not quite as bright. For what it is worth, whether through the Motherboard or trying out Thermal Grizzly Duronaut TIM, my CPU is running about 5 degrees C. cooler, whether at idle, or in stress test mode. I am running in PBO mode, and the CPU hits the marks beyond specification, all while staying pretty cool. (72' C.) Impressive. This was accomplished with a 360 AIO from EK. I will re-review if the Motherboard dies, or something happens, but for now, this has to be one of the better X870E Motherboards on the Market, and for the current sale price, does represent a truly great value with great performance. Glad I made the purchase.

My first Gigabyte Aorus Mobo build for me
After running Asus and MSI for many PC builds (and having to RMA a Gigabyte GPU), I finally decided to try a Gigabyte mobo for a build. I had zero issues with this Mobo, everything worked perfectly, this may have been my easiest build ever. - CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D - Cooler: CORSAIR iCUE Link Titan 360 RX RGB Liquid CPU Cooler – 360mm AIO - Case: Corsair Frame 4500X White - RAM: 32GB 6000 Klevv - PSU: CORSAIR RM1000x Shift Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - 80 Plus Gold - ATX 3.1 - PCIe 5.1 - Zero RPM - Modular Side Interface - White - SSD: Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB - GPU: PNY GeForce 3090 (still handles everything ok :) )

Faulty
After 4 entire days of troubleshooting it turned out that my motherboard was faulty. I kept getting CPU and RAM initialization errors and wasn't able to load into windows unless I reset CMOS each time.

Amazing for 9800X3D
For an 9800X3d This installed the CPU with no BIOS update required. Works very well and has loads of connectors. Stable and has vibrant colors.
