Very strong magnet. The phone does not fall off. However, I tried to stick a tissue box sideways. The magnet fell off. I then repositioned the magnet on top of the dashboard, so that the tissue box sits on top. I have another magnet holder on the side. Near the gear for my mobile. I use it there for a stable wired connection to android auto.

Wanted to give 4.5 starts but giving 4 stars as not able to give 4.5. Since there can always be room for improvement and development not giving 5, but I bought 2 pieces of this for a old tablet of mine which are kind of heavy, the tablet holds perfectly and will not fall for sure and also it'll remain stable for the most part unless you decide to go a very rough patches, it might slide a but...but please do follow the instructions which are given where clear and helpfull...great product overall....thinking of buying one more!
