Love these! I'm 67yrs old, 5'4", 140lbs and I bought these in a Large. I typically take bottoms in a size Medium, but after reading a few reviews and glancing over buyers photos, I decided to order this in a Large. I am glad I did b/c for my needs, they fit me perfectly. I am pretty sure I could have gone with my usual Medium size and they would have fit just fine, but I am 67 yrs old, wanted to use these for both SUP and casual wear, and I did not want them to fit tightly. The large sits on my hips, the drawstring ensures they stay up and the Large size gives me lots of room in the hips and thighs. Because the fabric is soft and falls well, sizing up gives me extra room around my hips and thighs without the shorts flaring out and looking like a skirt. The slight stretch of the fabric makes these so, so comfortable too. I wear them while stand up paddling which means I do a lot of kneeling-to-squatting-to-standing and the stretch in the fabric is so comfortable and never binds. The pockets are of a mesh material, so they drain and don't hold water while swimming. While on land, the pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone comfortably and securely. I've worn them to the beach and gone straight from there to run errands. The fact that they dry quickly is a definite plus for beachgoing life too. * * Note that these are not lined, so you do need to wear a bottom under them. These are the perfect crossover utilitarian AND cute shorts for my lifestyle. How much do I love these? I've already ordered 4 more in different prints!

Very comfortable shorts! Ordered to wear over my swimsuit at the water park and ended up wearing so much more! Find myself wearing these throughout the summer as an everyday shorts option! Holds up great in wash. Quality is wonderful! Love the length and fit! Would definitely order again.

I ordered both the large and extra large. I’m usually a large but didn’t know if these had any stretch (I hate swim shorts that cut into your thighs when you move). These shorts have some stretch and are very comfy! They are a flattering length too, long enough to cover a large backside but not too long to be unflattering. They dry very quickly also. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5: the extra large shorts came wet! Like I opened the amazon package, both shorts were in there in their own ziploc like bags. The size large was totally dry but the extra large was wet! The tags were mushy and bending because they had been soaked! There was condensation in the bag. I don’t know what happened (maybe someone returned it wet and they didn’t quality check it) but kind of gross…

Cute shorts! They are very light and no lining so easy to wear over a bathing suit. True to size. I ordered a medium.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! Fit is snug so they run small, so I am ordering the next size up. But these are by far the most comfortable, durable, versatile and great value for price. The material is comfy and dries so fast. Very impressive

I wore these as normal shorts and really enjoy how light weight and comfortable they are. The pockets a good size and could hold my phone. Have washed and wore these several times and still have great color and fit.

Runs large I cannot use them!

Love the shorts. Comfortable and great fit. I ordered one pair and bought 3 more patterns. Great length and doesn’t dig into your waist.

Good fit however order came with a tear in it!! 😡
