Lifetree Window Film Privacy for Glass Windows, Frosted, 90x 300cm

Excellent! As long as you take your time to measure properly. We used a steal rule and a knife to cut rather than scissors, so we got a sharp edge. Fixing it to the window was much easier than I expected. It was slightly fiddly trying to remove the backing. The finished look is great and I love it. The film provides privacy without compromising light.

I bought 2 rolls as they were on offer. I mainly bought one roll for the kitchen and the other roll for elsewhere in the house (if it went to plan with the first roll)I got the shortest height as I didnt want the full window covered. My house has a main path outside,so just wanted a bit of privacy while looking nice. Arrived quickly and feels like good quality. Getting the backing off was very fiddly on the first roll, so opened the second roll and it came off no problem! Really easy to put up. Cleaned the windows beforehand and made a mixture of water and washing up liquid in a spray bottle (sprayed lots of it on the window and a bit on the back of the film). I measured very roughly and added a tiny extra bit, just incase! I did have to trim it, but that wasn't an issue. My scissors glided through it.Really pleased with the outcome and it looks really nice. Would recommend to anyone who's thinking about it.

Took me about half hour to put mine up it's not the best because the biggest con I have about this is the lines don't roll out going sideways they roll out with the line going up so I could only fit 2/3rds of the window them had to put another piece under to try and fit it but for the price of under £10 you can't go wrong.Easy to apply spray water on the window take of the back of the film and place it on the window and use something hard to squeeze the water out. Easily comes off if needed to because it only uses water to stick.The holes in the picture is where I had to add seperate parts so doesn't look the best that's why I give it a 4 would of been easier with something sharp like Stanley cutter to find edge it.I tried it when I was outside and you can't really see through it unless you get real close and put your eye to it. Like usual with these things depending of where the most light is is dependent of how much you can see.

I got this to replace an old night & day blind that I had on the back of my side door. This had seen better days & also where it stuck out it meant I couldn't fully open the door which was a bit annoying.This privacy film seemed like a good alternative as it looks a bit like a blind in terms of the design & the colour of it. I was also attracted by the fact that it blocks out UV rays so should help to reduce heat build up & any damage to my floor from the sun pitching in.Ordered the 60cm width by 200cm length which was best suited to the size of the glazing I was covering on my door.I realised that the stripes on this were vertical which I was fine with on the door. If i had wanted them to be horizontal I'd have had to order the 90cm by 200cm which would have been less economic. As I'd had some problems with something similar in the past I wanted to minimise the out lay here just in case.I needn't have worried as the installation here was much easier than my previous experience as I knew to cut it to size before putting it up as previously I had ended up tearing the film when trying to cut it in place. This one was much thicker though & others have been able to cut it in situ that way. I just used some basic scissors & slid these through the film to achieve a reasonably straight edge. With it having the vertical stripes this made that easier in the longest direction. I had to have a couple of goes at getting the backing off, even with the tapes they supply, but once I got is started it peeled of easily & you present the smooth side to the window.It went up a treat after cleaning the window & then making sure it was wet with a mix of water & baby shampoo, then using a soft squeegee that I already had to get the bubble out. It stuck really well & dried out fine so very happy with the result & the sparkly colour looks good in the sunlight. Also you can see much at night with the light on unlike the mirrored ones that can do the opposite if they have a mirrored finish. You can still look out through the clear bits, but the view is slightly blurry as it is like looking though a clear tape.Overall a good quality thickish film that is easy to install & looks good & does the job for privacy.

Brilliant product. I have been looking to get rid of my net curtain that was in my kitchen window for a long time and finally found these vinyls! They look sophisticated whilst keeping the natural light coming into the kitchen. There is also a slight glitter to them so they also look nice from the inside. I did have to buy two different sizes to fit one window so beware, you will just have to make sure you measure all panes of glass that you wish to fit them on. I did also have to do some trimming on the edges as there was some excess vinyl.Ease of use:I found them very easy to install on my windows. The key is to make sure you wet the vinyl and the window a lot, and you’ll be able to move them about to ensure they are straight. The stickers that came provided I didn’t use as didn’t think it was necessary, the back of the vinyl was easily removed using my fingernail. Getting the water out was easily done using a credit card wrapped in a cloth and then gently working over the bubbles and pushing them to the outside. Cutting the vinyl to fit the window was very easy. I just butted a ruler against the film and window edge and then cut with a craft knife.Overall very pleased with the product and would definitely recommend. After putting them up I am sure they will last a long time and give my kitchen a much neater look than the net curtain ever did!

This window film is great. We have a kitchen window that is eight night to a foot path so wanted to make it more private. We had blinds up previously but didn't like how people could still see in.This film is very easy to apply. I managed to apply it perfectly first time using a spray bottle,water and a squeegee.I pre cut the film to slightly bigger than the window using scissors and trimmed it to size with a knife once in place.It provides us with the privacy we need but still let's a good amount of light in.Overall for the price this is very good and worth every penny.

Love this product - I had experimented with static film before but I didn't like the pattern. This looks lovely and allows lots of light through. I read the comments about it falling off, hard to peel of the backing and lots of bubbles1. I had experienced the film falling off when I used my previous film - I thought I could skip the water on the glass bit...WRONG. I woke up the next day to the film peeling off the glass. So, I had to redo, but with lots of water on the glass and it stuck perfectly until I peeled it off today to replace with this design. I'm optimistic that this product will adhere just as well.I do wonder if some of the people who had problems with it falling off because they felt it was too heavy, had in fact not realised that the backing is transparent and has to be peeled off. The original film I used had a paper backing, so it was easier to see (obviously!) and easier to peel off. This product will not stick by static if you don't remove the transparent backing.2. I do agree that finding a way to separate the transparent backing from the film was tricky. I don't really know if this trick worked or it was a coincidence, but I submerged my cut piece in water and picked at the cut edge and it seemed to separate more easily than when it was dry.3. I used a short ruler to squeeze as much water and bubbles from behind the film and then pressed hard, line by line from the middle of the film sideways with a cloth, and it was surprising how much more water squeezed out. This also moves the tiny bubbles to the edge to remove them too.I hope the above might help others.I am delighted with the effect - looks like blinds and I love the twinkly/sparkly effect when the sun shines through. All the privacy I wanted without the cost and bulkiness of blinds :-)

Good Product, easy to install and does what it says on description... But one thing i didn't like was i received the vertical design rather than the horizontal as shown in product listing... However still a good product. Thanks

Wir haben die Sichtschutzfolie zu Hause bestellt, da wir im Erdgeschoss wohnen und gern etwas geschützter sein wollten. Auf dem ersten Blick hat mich die glitzernde Folie etwas abgeschreckt, aber am Ende bin und war ich begeistert, sodass ich die Folie für die Arbeit (in einer Schule) über meinen Arbeitgeber gleich nochmal bestellen ließ. Sie ist einfach anzubringen und vor allem durch die Striche kann man gut die Markierungen setzen und es einfach zuschneiden. In der Sonne kommt das Glitzern etwas durch, wodurch meiner Meinung nach der Raum aber gleich freundlicher wirkt. Ich finde sie sehr schick und Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jedenfall. Fazit: Ich würde sie jederzeit wiederbestellen.

Die Fensterfolie sieht Top aus. Mit einem Spatel ging sie sehr gut und ganz ohne Luftblasen anzubringen. Wir sind total begeistert.

Bon produit. Acheté en 2024, je fais ce commentaire en 07/2026. Posé sur 2 fenêtres (triple vitrage), ce film n'a absolument pas bougé.

Artikel wie beschrieben. Die Folie lässt sich einfach auf die Fenster aufbringen. Gewünschte Größe zuschneiden, Fenster mit Wasser besprühen und mit einem Rakel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) glatt streichen. Fertig.
