The nVent Nuheat Electric Radiant Floor Heat Cables, now part of the Chemelex Heating System, produce 12 W/ft² for a heat output of 41 BTUs/ft² (or 15 W/ft² for a heat output of 51 BTUs/ft², depending on spacing) and provide a reliable, energy-efficient solution for heating floors in both residential and commercial spaces. These cables are wet-rated for safe installation in bathrooms, hot tub and bathtub surrounds and other wet areas. Engineered for flexibility and simple set-up, these electric floor heating cables provide an efficient and reliable way to create a consistently warm, comfortable surface beneath a wide range of flooring types, including tile, stone, laminate and engineered wood, while maintaining a low profile beneath the finished floor. The Nuheat cables can be installed in any room, from kitchens and bathrooms to living rooms and basements, making them an ideal solution for new builds or renovations where consistent radiant floor heating and comfort are priorities. Suitable for various floor tiles, including ceramic tile, porcelain tile, vinyl tile, cement tile, granite tile, marble tile, travertine tile, slate tile, limestone tile, sandstone tile, onyx tile, quartzite tile, mosaic tile and glass tile, as well as concrete blocks, engineered stone tiles and natural stone tiles installed directly on top. It is also suitable for linoleum tile applications, carpet tile, vinyl flooring and stone flooring. The Nuheat cables include plastic cable straps that secure them in place during installation, ensuring proper spacing and stability for maximum performance. They can also be installed with the Chemelex Nuheat Membrane, which is specifically designed for use with underfloor heating systems to provide a cozy, long-lasting floor system. The membrane further functions as a vapor management system, allowing water to escape from the substrate during the curing process and helping to protect the integrity of the floor covering.
