Spicy Sandia Women’s Long Cardigan Sweaters Dressy Casual

I've bought many cardigan sweaters in my 41 year career as a hairstylist. I wear them just about every day that I work during the fall and winter months. In the past, I've had little luck, and tons of bad luck where I either returned the sweaters because they weren't the right size, the fit and quality were horrible, were too short, etc, etc. Not this sweater.. It's a gem! I knew by the feel of it before I looked at it and tried it on that it was a hit! It's a heavy but thin sweater if that makes sense. I could feel by the heaviness before trying it on that it's made really well. Keeping my fingers crossed, I tried it on and it was perfect! Sleeve length was perfect, the silver buttons on the wrist area is just enough detail to make this a bit more stylish than just a casual cardigan. The color is true black, the length is perfect and the fit around my chest ( size 42D) and shoulder areas are nice too. It will be comfortable working in it. I have broad shoulders and sometimes the fit around my chest is too tight or doesn't hang right in the front, but this style does. It comes together perfectly in the front..it doesn't over lap and there's no gap where it's too small. It's very flattering too. Has a straight look to it. I'm going to order a few more in hopes that they all fit the same. I'm 5ft 4in tall and take an XL or XXL ( or 1X). I ordered an XXL. The fit is perfect for a sleeveless tank top or long sleeve thin shirt under it. It hits right above my knees. Im so happy with this sweater. It'll be a nice addition to my work wardrobe throughout the next couple seasons. A+++++ Update: I ordered a 2nd cardigan sweater. Same size and color. The 2nd one seemed smaller and tighter than the 1st one that I bought. Sleeve length was the same but around my chest area it seemed a bit smaller and snug fitting. I checked the sizes on both and I did receive 2 of the same size sweaters ( bought at different times about 2 weeks apart ) Just want to put it out there that this might be a possibility if you buy more than one of these cardigans. Skeptical now because I planned on buying more as the season starts to get colder. Now? Most likely not. Bummer

This is a great lightweight sweater that’s very flattering! It’s slimming and doesn’t look like a tent even though it doesn’t have a button closure. The sleeves also really make this sweater!! The long cuff with the silver buttons look so sharp and stylish. I’m surprised how often I reach for it when looking for something to throw over a blouse. It’s also very soft.

I'm super picky and I'm very satisfied with this sweater. It's high quality, stylish, and soft. Will go with almost any outfit.

The material feels soft, comfortable, and quality. The buttons on the sleeves are a nice little detail. They look a bit cheap if you look too close, but from afar they're a nice, classy detail. Perfect for spring and fall transition outfits.

This sweater is exactly as described, and the sizing is spot on. I needed something dressy for an evening wedding and it truly fit the bill. The decorative buttons on the long cuffs of the sweater really turn it from casual to dressy. The only suggestion I would have, is to offer the sweater with gold tone or silver tone buttons. That choice isn't offered as the buttons are gold tone. I would have chosen silver had I had the option. It is soft and stretchy and perfect for a cooler autumn evening.

Okay, I didn't know what to expect when ordering this. Over the last 6 months, I've searched & searched for a good cardigan. Finally, when this went on sale, I decided to buy. Received this yesterday & tried it on & it's perfect! Not too heavy, but not too light weight. It's delicate fabric, but if you take care of it (i.e. not drying it), it should stand up well for years to come. I could see that if I snagged this on something, it would probably tear, but all in all, I'm glad I got it. It's very flattering, covers my butt, the buttons on the sleeve are a nice addition, and I feel pretty in it. It's very flattering, even though I weigh a lot right now. Got an Extra-Large. The size match is perfect. I would recommend this sweater to anyone looking for a stylish, light weight cardigan for work or a night out.

I ordered a size larger, but I should have gone with my usual size. Nevertheless, due to the way it drapes, it still looks good! This is not the see-through thin sweater that is so often sold on Amazon; it's thicker and actually gives some warmth! The length is flattering and the sleeve buttons make it look stylish. I personally love the fact that it has no pockets in the front, though I know that many like pockets. For those of us with a more rounded shape, I think sweaters with pockets in the front are often not that flattering, especially once the pockets are used and start gapping open (they draw the eye to the wrong area of the body!). It also has a little inset band in the back, giving it a bit more shape. I didn't expect that since it didn't show in the online image of the black sweater. It looks like it's well made, though time will tell. I'll be very, very careful washing it (cold water, gentle cycle, in a laundry bag and turned inside out, and hung dry), to try and keep it from possibly pilling up. It's taken me years to find a sweater in this style again and I'm getting a couple more!

Not what was pictured. the photo showed a much longer sweater that was below the knee.. This one, and the one I received hit me mid- thigh. I suspect what I paid for was swapped out for something. The one I received was nice and fit well, I just don't like the idea of bait-and-switch from Amazon. Car salesmen, yes, but not Amazon.

I do like this sweater. Washed up great as well. And I always hang these kind of items to dry. Its light for spring and fall weather.
