Is this product made from whole beets or dehydrated beet pulp?

This product is made from 100% Red Beets (also known as red beetroot) that is grown for human consumption and known for its abundant health benefits. This is NOT beet pulp which is the byproduct from the commercial sugar industry.

What is the shelf-life of these beets and carrots?

The product comes with an 18 months shelf life. That is the "Best if used by" date. When stored in a dry place protected from light, the product can remain effective up to another year. Since you never know how customers store the product, the German manufacturer uses the 18 months shelf life. The "Best By" date is printed on the bottom of the bags.
