Picture quality and sound clarity superb and works well with my EE Probox PVR and Remote
The LG 55QNED70A6A 55-Inch is a head and shoulders above my 5 years old Panasonic 43" TV, which still works well and will now be installed in my office. I wanted something better that would pair properly with the remote for my EE TV Pro Box via the HDMI port - and this LG model is fully compatible. The TV is served by the EE box 99% of the time in use. I checked out several functions though on the TV without the EE PVR, using the so called "Magic Remote". This including streaming YouTube and BBC iPlayer, tuning the Freeview channel in etc and it was great and very intuitive to use, despite having a very basic written instruction manual. I wanted to avoid the Freely service as this is a hindrance to my type of viewing configuration so that ruled out several other makes of TV. I bought the TV in June 2026 during the Prime week for offers, so there was a good discount available. I felt my purchase was good value for money. I am delighted with the picture quality, the clarity of sound in a 8 metre long lounge - albeit I need the volume at 60+ (much to my wife's chagrin!). I use the SPDIF optical audio output to feed my Yamaha HiFi system without a problem. I'm pleased to report this LG TV is a keeper, my first experience of the brand, no problem therefore in me giving the unit a 5 star rating.

good very very
am extremely pleased with this 65-inch LG TV. The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors and sharp detail. The sound is clear, the setup was simple, and the smart features work smoothly. It offers excellent value for the price and has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a high-quality televis

Exceptional Picture Quality
The picture quality is exceptional, that is compared to your standard 4K UHD LED TV. The sound quality is good on a couple of sound modes, but depending on which ones you use it can sound flat or tinny. It's a good size, I mean, it's the size it is (50"). Some of the AI features are hit and miss, using personalised picture mode and sound mode I just can't get it right, which is strange considering it's personalised, and it says my profile is cool and vivid but it adds a yellow tint, so I just don't see point in the AI features, the same with the AI assistant, it's not even able to execute simple setting changes on the TV, so I just shan't use them, it's not necessary. The connectivity side of things is great if you have smart home, like Phillips Hue, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, or other LG ThinQ devices/appliances, since you can control all of that with the remote, as well as Amazon Alexa so you can even see your home security cameras on request. Trying to set this thing up will take a couple of attempts, and I've set up other LG TV's which are all the same, I don't particularly understand why it is never a smooth sailing process, but it's not that big of a deal. In terms of picture and sound quality, it is good and reasonably priced, so its still 5 stars, because all of the rest isn't exactly relevant.

TV looks great! Great features, but also a little nippy at times
Really enjoying this TV so far, I've had it for nearly a week now. It looks fantastic, if you're going from a basic LED tv, you'll notice a difference. The darks/blacks look darker and blacker, which actually makes the whole picture look more clear. I got the 65" and it's the perfect size for my living room. The sounds quality isn't great, but it'll be the same as most TVs in this range. I plug this into a mini hifi anyway so it doesn't matter to me. It's a little bit of a pain to set up, I don't like how it automatically turns on to its own smart screen instead of the last used HDMI, and there's no "source" button on the remote, so you have to hold the magic home button to get the inputs up. It's not too heavy and can be moved by one person, but its size makes it tricky. Recommend 2 people to initially set up just to be sure! Seems sturdy enough when it's on the stand. I would have loved it if TVs still came with component input or SCART for use with older systems. I have to buy an adapter for my PS2, unfortunately. Actually watching it is very nice, I like the upscaling to 4K and love the Tru Motion for games and cartoons (converts 24, 25 fps to 60 fps). However, for real-life footage, digitally converting to 60fps looks a bit weird. Fortunately, this can be turned off! All round I am very happy with the new TV, but will probably have to deal with some of it's imperfections.

Amazing TV for a competitive price
Very happy with my 65โ purchase. Quality of picture is top notch. I would recommend a decent soundbar to really showcase the audio output. Set up was a doddle and I would suggest you use LGโs amazing AI interface to find the picture quality you are after

After 5 weeks. To many problems
I upgrade from an LG tv that was 3 years old to this. The picture quality on this is good but the sound on older tv is better. The power connector for some stupid reason is in the middle of the back of the tv. Some people might not be able to wall mount this because of that. Thankfully my wall bracket is 2 arms that screw into the back of the tv. If yours is a plate. I doubt you'll get the power lead in. After 5 weeks of use. The remote control stops working 2 or 3 times every day. Now the sound goes off for no reason. Only way to get things working is to pull the plug out for 60 seconds. Turning the tv off normally doesn't fix the problems.
