Dark Red Toray - 3/4 Men Women Thai Fisherman Pants Yoga Trousers by Thai Spicy Free Size

I just put these on for the first time. I've recently purchased a couple pairs of "normal" khaki shorts and cargo shorts, and these Thai Fisherman shorts are by far the most comfortable. By far. Moving is just easier, especially any type of movement that would normally require "hitching up your pants." The material is nice, seems very breathable, but it's not too thin. I'm 6'7" with a 34" waist, and these fit me great. They come down two or three inches below my knees, "messenger" style, which is exactly how I like my shorts to fit. A con would be that they did take longer than I had expected to arrive, I actually forgot about them for a second. Another potential issue for some people will be the possibility that you will either be mistaken for a hippy, or a hipster, as they do have a unique look. I live in a little city that has a high population of both though, so I'm not going to hesitate to wear them around town, doing errands, etc. I'll blend right in. Finally I'd just like to say that the demonstration pictures make me feel even taller than normal, they go down to his ankles, and he has them up to his belly button. Such versatile clothing! I'll update this review in a month to add my thoughts about how they've held up.

Everything was great! It is very comfortable, the material is slightly thick, and it is not see-through. There is also a pocket on one side that can fit an iPhone6 with no problem. Also, I am 120lbs and had no issue with the length of the straps/ties being too short. The straps are sewn into the back of the pants and are non adjustable so I can see how that might be an issue for others. However, I really like this feature because the straps will stay put and will not slide around. The only other minor thing is the color is not quite as dark as pictured (not a huge difference) but it is still a very deep and beautiful color. Personally, I really love these pants and I would recommend them to others!

For the price, these are great pants. I got them for yoga, and they are incredibly confortable and well made.they are made by a small family company (I like to support a grass roots business ) from Thailand...just be prepared, the mail service from that country is quite slow.

I love these pants. They were a perfect 3/4 inch length, as described. I am 5'11/150 and found it was a very comfortable fit around the waist as well! I originally got these pants to do Yoga. The material was easy to move around in, PERFECT for yoga and so comfortable to wear, i've been wearing them around the house too! The dark red color was same as pictured, no fade on the material after washing. However, based on previous reviews, I was cautious to wash them separate from my other clothes to be sure it didn't bleed on anything else. I would suggest the same. There is a handy pocket on the right side of the pants that I did not notice in pictures provided also. These pants far exceed my expectations. Money well spent. As other reviewers have pointed out, the color on these is deep, rich, satisfying red. They are lightweight, but I wouldn't say the fabric is cheap or too thin. It seems perfectly adequate to me. I knew when I purchased these that they were probably going to be tighter on me than they appear on the person modelling them in the product photo, because I am a very manly 6'3" (190.5cm) tall and wear a studly American size 40" waist in jeans with a masculine 32"- 33" inseam, depending on the rise of the jean. What I didn't expect was to receive a lovely pair of short pants that more than adequately fit me around the waist, hips, ballocks, and buttocks with plenty of room to spare, but which had no drawstring attached or even included, making it impossible to cinch them at the waist and keep them up and on me! I went through the packaging they arrived in 3 times making sure it hadn't come separately. I have turned the shorts inside out and upside down inspecting every seam including the pocket for the extra strip of cotton that would keep these from dropping straight to the ground. Not there. I can appreciate that these are made by hand, and that they have become increasingly popular in the West as more and more hipsters take up yoga or just want the extra room and air flow to deal with their unmanaged bush'n'ball areas, but it seems to me that a means of closure is one of the most important pieces in a rather simple sewing pattern, and the fact that I can't wear them without exposing to the world my own bush'n'ball area (which is managed, I promise).

What's really odd about these pants is that the ties are the only places where they skimped on fabric. If you make a pair of pants that's one size fits all and put so much fabric into the actual pants, why not include longer ties so that people can adjust where on their waist they want these pants to fit. I want to swagger around in these, but because the ties are too short, I have to wear them at my natural waist when I'd really just want them to be at the widest part of my waist instead.. to show more waist/underwear for more ooomph, you know?

On the plus side, these are a nice color, although not exactly as shown, on the minus side, they are thin, see through, cheap looking and the ties are way too short. I'm totally amazed that these came all the way from Thailand and although they are inexpensive they are not worth the money. I am now going back on Amazon to search for a decent pair of these pants that when they are done right are wonderful and comfortable to wear. by the way, when I say the ties are too short, be aware I am very slender and they look ridiculous. Don't waste your money!!!

Very comfortable to wear. The material is a bit thin, but for around $10 it has far exceeded my expectations on the quality. I'd suggest watching a video on YouTube to see exactly how to wear it properly (just search for Thai fisherman's pants, and you'll see a couple.) Once you know how to fold the sides and the top, it looks a lot better. I'm not sure how long they will hold up if you do things like practice yoga, but great for lounging around
