I made the mistake of asking a family member to buy me a hair dryer from america as it’s been on my wishlist for a while and the colour I love was limited addition and not available in the uk. Didn’t factor in that the voltage would be different. I was a bit worried and skeptical as usually voltage converters don’t have high wattage but it really does work! My hairdryer has not experienced any faults which was my main worry. I’m yet to take it abroad with me into the eu but i’m sure that it’ll work just as fine as it does now. It does have a little bit of weight to it but really nothing crazy. Definitely worth the money especially as I couldn’t return the hair dryer.

My last converter box was huge and clunky and got really hot. It sometimes shorted out as well. I did my research on this one and thought it would be the best option for my sewing machine, which I was taking with me out of the country. Works like a charm, isn't heavy, and is very compact. It has a built-in fan to keep it from overheating. I highly recommend this for anyone going out of the country and needing something smaller to tote.

Purchased this for my wife for a work trip to the UK recently. Specifically so she could bring her Dyson Airwrap. While the item ultimately worked as she needed it. Laptop, Curling Iron and the Dyson Airwrap. There seemed to be a delay when she would turn on the Dyson. No green light blinking faults. She would turn Dyson on and nothing would happen. So immediately turn it off. Wait a few seconds and turn back on and it would work. This seemed the happen a couple times so rather than use it, fix hair a little, turn off and on a few times during the process she just left it on while laying it on bathroom counter. Reached out to YANG @ Hyted Customer Support and was VERY helpful in helping me and immediately sent out another unit. Wants the original unit back to them and not Amazon so the engineers can check it out to see what caused the issue. We will be going to Australia in a few weeks so we will get to try the new unit all over again. We’ve never used a Step Down Voltage Converter before so wasn’t sure if there was a slight delay when using devices like the Dyson. Which was the driving force to purchase this in the first place. My bride loves her Dyson. Ultimately it worked but according to YANG @ HYTED Customer Support, not like it should’ve so today I’ll have a new one delivered. Would definitely recommend. Worry free customer support thanks to YANG. Will update after our trip to Australia and I get to see first hand how it performs.

Works perfect with Shark Flexstyle in Europe. Also with electric knife. It is amazing!!!

Worked well for a convention I attended with English translations. Battery was great lasted all day no problem. Love that I could charge up in the evening, not carry batteries. One note I purchased headphones that were a better quality. The headphones that come with the radio cause a static sound.
