Does it work on males?

Yes. I am male and I am using it. I have about 60% reduction in hair growth in 3 treatments.

Question 2

Is this for African Americans?  I see it is for pale skin and dark hair but is it talking about all ethnicities?  I have light skin (and dark hair) for a Black person but definitely no where near as light as a Caucasian or Asian.  Is this supposed to work for African Americans/Blacks?

No matter your race, it depends on the darkness of your skin. Before the laser will unlock for use, you have to put the sensor on the area you plan to treat. If the skin color is light enough, the machine will unlock for use. If your skin color is too dark, it wont unlock and cant be used. My two children are half white, half black, and I tested the tria laser on each of them to see if their skin is light enough to unlock the laser (didnt use the laser, just tried to unlock it :) ). My son, who has medium tan skin, and is often mistaken for hispanic (just to give you an idea of skin color), had skin light enough to unlock the laser. When i tested it on my daughter, who is darker than my son, and has dark tan colored skin, it wouldnt unlock. Tria now makes a hair removal laser that can be used on dark skin and light colored hair. I would look into that one instead, if I had skin darker than a light tan color.

I am skeptical to spend this much money on the device and then it not work. What was your experience like? Does it really work?

I used to have to shave everyday and you could see my pores. After using steady every 2 weeks or once a week focusing on different leg each time I barely have any hairs left on my legs and maybe shave once a week to touch up. If use it as directed it works. I bought mine off eBay preowned for a quarter of price new and it still works after 4 years.

Question 4

Does anyone know how to go about getting a replacement charger/plug?

When I got this newer Tria, I didn't think my charger was working either, but it was.  When you first plug it in, the top will light up of a minute or so, then go out.  It takes the Tria about 2 hours to charge.  Once it charges, the light turns on again for a few seconds to let you know it is done charging, but then goes out again.  After two hours, just unplug and use.  Keeping it plugged in longer doesn't hurt the Tria either.  I have been almost hair-free for almost 5+ years because I used the Tria. I recently bought this newer model in order to get the stragglers that I left behind with my first Tria.  It didn't have enough pulses to completely finish the job.  Tria is awesome!! Take care.
