Hawkins Futura 3 Litre Pressure Cooker, Hard Anodised Inner Lid Pressure Cooker, Pan Cooker, Black (FP30)

This 3 Lit Futura pressure cooker is a fantastic product. Efficient fast and so easy to use. It cooks well on slow flame simmer saving gas and it is so easy to clean because of its finish. It is relatively quiet and it is such a relief from the perpetually whistling conventional cookers. I docked it one star because I miss a small grab handle on the other side of the main handle which would make it easy to handle a full cooker when hot. The size is ideal for 3 persons for normal daily cooking. It is pricey but worth it. I just wish it came with an over-box over the original colored box of the cooker. It arrived safe but the box was ruined in shipping and certainly could not have been given as a gift if needed. It would have been really nice to be able to open a fresh box with this priceless cooker.

Giving my feedback after 2 weeks of usage. After reading a number of negative reviews I was not sure whether to purchase this or not. I was kind of fed up seeing pressure cookers with old handles where screw will often loosen up and you have to tighten it. I had accidentally come across this model in the shopping mall of the 5l variant. Another 2 models were one from prestige (which I felt badly designed with loose parts ) and apple duo which has put a different handle in the product image though having old handle. What I liked in the pressure cooker is it is pretty well designed( with all parts tightly fixed) , heavy body and obviously the unique handle design. Since 3l variant was not available in the mall I bought it from amazon. Though 3000+ price is a bit on the higher side It depends how desperately you need the change.

I bought this cooker for overseas use- first cooker was shipped with broken part in the handle. Returned and ordered 2nd piece, but this one is faulty too- its original handle seems to be replaced with local, so it does not seal properly. Really bad experience. DO NOT BUY from this seller. Although future coolers are great, but cheat seller

Nice pressure cooker; no issues

It is without end support and because of it difficult to handle at kitchen.

Smart look. It is heavy. Size is perfect. Easy to open and close. Easy to wash. For safety, always keep the handle near you and the whistle opposite to you.

The cooker is an ideal buy for anyone who wishes to cook small quantities in a quick span of time. Meat, vegetables, rice, pulses, etc. anything cooks quick enough. Cleaning might be a wee bit time consuming but that's the case for all cookers. All together, it's a good buy worth the price and quality.
