This book is extremely beautifu. The pages , the illustrations , the content everything is top tier. The history of ASOIAF is so intriguing and vast, it's full of misterys and wonder. I don't know when or if we will see the end of ASOIAF but still I am thankful that ASOIAF exists, and TWOIAF is an phenomenal edition to that.

I first noticed this book at the book fair in my town, December 2014! I was blown away by this book, at the very first sight! I decided, then and there itself, that this book would have to adorn my bookshelf! But since the price tag, unsubsided one, was a tad too heavy on my wallet I decided to take my recourse to Amazon.in and I was taken on a fantasy ride by them, courtesy the price tag and the time it took for the book to be delivered which just happened to be just 5 days! Now for the book itself, I have to make a confession. I have not read a single book by George R. Martin, A Song of Ice & Fire or otherwise, but that has not stopped me from watching the visual outlet of the same! In fact, now I as know much fanatic as any hard-core fan of that franchise. This book was another shot in the arm in he quest for me. Starting off with the legendary times through the times of the First Men, the Children, the Giants, the beings of the Crannogmen Neck and an assortment of creatures and beings, that lie in between. It's like an anthropoligical guide to Westeros! I like the description of the fabled beasts of the Shivering Sea and also the legends of the Iron Islands pertaining to the ruling houses of the that cold, wet and windy islands! They have a unique tale of creation how they came to be, courtesy their Drowned God and all the myth related to Nagga's Jaw! I am a big fan of the North and House Stark and greatly like the fact that they are the oldest ruling house in the entire realm of Westeros! The story of the Wall, the Night's Watch, the Others and how the realm of men joined hands with the Children and the Giants to ward off a common enemy, the Wight! As the series is building to a climax, I can feel the palpitation a great conflagration with the Army of the Dead! The tale of Garth Greenhand and the Vale sounds like a rich folktale! I won't act as a spoiler, furthermore! Get your copy, asap!

The product is as shown in the image but I found better copy at other book stores. At some book stores, it is available with a thick transparent cover. However, from Amazon, it wasn't so. The book wasn't even bubble wrapped. It was directly stuffed into the box. The edges were torn. The binding was damaged at the corners. The book is however good. It is totally worth 1.3 k for a Game of Thrones hard core fan. In book stores, the price is not below 1.6 k. If you can afford it, go for it. The illustrations are good but the book is NOT an Encyclopedia of Game of Thrones if that's what you think. It is just about the history, the events that took place before the Game of Thrones. The quality of the paper is unquestionable. It's awesome and the print is good as well.

This Book 📖 is so beautifully created I got goosebumps just by looking at it and when you read this book it feel’s like a dream come true and by the way "Aegon The Conqueror looks amazing and also The Iron Throne.”

This review is about the content of the book, rather than the product condition/ delivery by Amazon. Absolutely ADORE this book. It's filled with beautiful arworks, both portrait and landscape. And as yall know it's about the history of the world of ASOIAF, very informative. Personally i think it's a must-have for any ASOIAF/GOT/HOTD enthusiast. If you're interested in the lore and fascinated by the intricate world created by George R.R. Martin, this is for you.

It is an excellent product for the price. I had got it for just Rs699/- I bought a used one , but the book was in perfect condition except for the cover which was having little colour fade and a small tear. The ater was corrected by a cellophane tape which is hard to notice. Thank you for taking me into "the world of ice and fire" 💝💖

This book is absolutely stunning and it completes my GRRM collection. The illustrations are simply beautiful and the page quality strong. Even the font is gorgeous. If you are a fan, this book is a must-have encyclopedia to have at your fingertips when reading through the series books as it provides guidance regarding events, people and places which you can lose track of, due to the lores expansive universe.
