The best Chumash I own!
I own several editions of the Torah both in Hebrew (of which I am a native speaker) and English. Among them are Mikreot Gdolot and Artscroll's Chumash as well as Steinsaltz's.Drazin and Wagner (both modern orthodox rabbis) produced not only a fantastic translation of Onkelos. They also have included modern and extensive commentary that while building on Rashi and the Talmud is also modern, interesting and at parts exciting. Their descriptions of Parashot Korach and Balak as well as the discussion of the possible differences between Ohel Moed and the Mishkan are unusually interesting and clearer than anything I have seen in the past. Also the publisher did an excellent job. Very high quality paper with beautiful printing and binding. The Rashi commentary which is included in most Chumashim is the clearest typeface with nikud. Can't recommend this set more strongly.

Beautifully bound and a pleasure to read
A very nice English translation of the Targum. Easy to read, well-organized pages with ample notes. Increases understanding of the Bible in its more ancient context.

Scripture Research
For the serious bible student, this is a must. It presents a very clear and straightforward transliteration of the original Hebrew text with footnoted commentary by numerous Talmudic scholars. With so many meanings for words, some lost to time, it is a very useful tool in understanding original intent and context of the Pentateuch. This is a definite plus for your library and can't be beat for the price.

Excellent!
I recently started using Rabbi Drazin's Onkelos on the Torah as an aid to studying the weekly parasha. The Hebrew and Aramaic typeset is crisp and easy to read, and the English translation with commentary is enlightening. This five volume set is well worth the $.

Essential
Essential for all serious Torah students. The Torah portion must be read in Aramaic at least once per week. This is by far the best edition for Non Hebrew speakers and also for those who do speak Hebrew

Excellent Learning Tool
Well laid out and the lay out is explained in the introduction. If you have a Rashi text to go along with this set it allows even greater use of the commentary. The commentary is accessible to all level of understanding. It comments specifically on the Aramaic differences from the Hebrew text which lessen the burden of the commentary. It also refers to difference between Pseudo Jonathan and Neophyti as well as other Targum fragments. Regarding the Haphtarah reading there is commentary that explains why this particular reading was chosen to be associated with Torah portion.
