Squirrels had chewed the electric wires in my new Honda the wires are covered with soybean-based coating that squirrels enjoy. After $$$ repairs I bought the tape to cover the wires and so far no damage. I highly recommend this tape.

I ended up on the side of the highway because it turns out nice chewed through my injector harness. I live in the woods so mice are inevitable, but ending up on the side of a busy highway was not something I wanted to do again. I can't keep the mice out, but this tape has kept my wires in tact! I was a little concerned because the roll seemed so small, but it didn't take a whole lot to wrap all the wires thoroughly. I still have a bunch left over. The cost of this tape has saved me thousands in damage.

The tape does not stick well. You can work around this by using a little Gorilla tape where you start and finish the wrap. Since the tape adhesive is not very strong, it does make long wrap mishaps easier to recover from and to continue the work. I’m going to the Honda dealership and ordering the original, next time.

Nice. I found pinhole rodent teeth marks ( likely squirrel ) in the tape that were surrounded by red coloration on the first day after application. Never again.
