When our fur baby was end of life, we were constantly worried about his comfort. We grabbed one of these to check lung sounds periodically and it worked great. The sound was crystal clear and honestly, comparable if not better to a far more expensive brand I purchased years ago for a college course.

Dual head doesn’t work
I like the color and the sound that comes from the low frequency end but I cannot seem to switch to the high frequency end bc the the dot doesn’t move. In the directions it shows each side is working (bell or diaphragm) based on the location of the dot. There is a dot underneath the bell side, and then you should be able to twist it 180 degrees to have the dot underneath the diaphragm. Mine only stays under the bell. Update: The FriCARE company reached out and offered to send me a brand new one! They have great customer service. Unfortunately, the second one they sent me has the same problem where the stethoscope does not want to be a dual head.
