3M Floor Sweeper 4500, Small, 10 in x 8.5 in x 3 in

This is amazing! The one we have was my parents, my daughter took it when we were moving my mom to another home where my mom would no longer have use for this. She had been telling us how much she loved it, I didn’t pay much attention....well today I was asked to come sit with my grand baby. I decided to pick up the toy room while my grand baby slept. There were goldfish everywhere, I couldn’t use the vacuum so found this 3M sweeper!!! I was astounded at how great this picked up everything. It’s the reason I’m writing this review because I wanted to purchase one but didn’t realize how expensive it was, I honestly think it’s worth it. It looks like I vacuumed after using it.

My low rating is only for home use. In that environment it is terrible. I have the low pile carpeting found in many apartments. The 3M 4500 sweeper will not pick up the little bits that somehow appear on carpets. It just pushes the bits along or just passes over them untouched. And the few bits it does picks up are often regurgitated back on the carpet.On the other hand, it does pick up small scraps of paper without trouble and paper clips with one to three passes, so it may be better in an office environment.The rubber rotors do not seem to work well on pile and it is hard to push and pull compared to other sweepers. It also squeaks a lot.The construction, however, is very good.

I love this sweeper. We actually use the same model at work for in-between cleaning and I have wanted one for 2 years now. Unfortunately, when I checked it out last time it was still $180. When I noticed the price went down I just had to have it. --- This sweeper is not like the flimsy $30 ones that you buy at the store. This is a heavy-duty sweeper that goes from carpet to laminate to linoleum. Love it.
