Very happy with these
Note, these are thin and really flexible. I use them to slip on and take out the trash, take the dog out, do some yard work, etc. Wore them in the snow for some sledding in our yard. A few notes: 1) If you have high arches you might find them difficult to pull on - the ankle portion is a little narrow and my foot will not go in if I have thick socks on. If you want to wear these with thick socks, I would size up. I'm a "text book" size 7 and that's what I ordered. That being said, these are rubber-type material, so you'll want some kind of sock, or you'll get a blister. 2) The material is thin and flexible (which is what I wanted). I'm not sure how these would hold up for long walks, etc. There's not much cushion, etc. 3) If you have bigger calves, these might not work. I have narrow/medium calves, so I usually have the other problem, but these fit great over a pair of jeans with a finger or two of room.

The Holy Grail of galoshes for a barefooter!
OK, first let me explain that my go-to shoes for the past decade have been Vibram Five Fingers. My feet are wide, and they have come to expect and require freedom. I am accustomed to what I call “groundfeel”, and feel clumsy and nervous without knowing what’s underfoot. Finding suitable rainboots has been a years-long pursuit. The usual ones with heels and stiff lugged soles hurt my knees and hips. And feet. These boots garner the distinction of becoming my Grail Galoshes!!! Hallelujah, praise Mother Nature! I can muck out my barn in comfort! When I gave 5 stars for the “support” criterion in this rating, please understand that in my world, “NO support” receives a full rating. “Support” equals “crutch” in my shoe lexicon. I can actually FEEL the world beneath my feet in these boots, and that is a miracle. The material is sticky enough to give traction and help avoid slippage without relying on heavy lugs for grip.In the Winter the thin soles will be cold, so I might add some insoles for a bit of insulation. And/or order a size up to give me room for socks AND insoles. Now, if they’d add some fun colors to the lineup...I might just weep with glee.

Almost perfect for what I need them for
UPDATE:This review is for the cuffed version of the rain boot. I’ve had these now for over a year and a half. They are pretty great for doing outside chores in. They are still going strong. I did put some Dr. Scholl’s shoe inserts in the boots because they were quite uncomfortable working in at first. That fixed the problem beautifully. I do all my outside work in these & I’m pretty hard on stuff. They haven’t ripped or torn anywhere yet. I have to say that these boots(with the cuff) are an excellent buy if your willing to get a really good shoe insert to go inside and take the one that comes with the boots originally out all together. I usually do that with all rain boots I buy though. That made a world of difference! They aren’t as tight as I originally thought because I put the knew inserts in & I still had room to put thick socks on so that was a nice surprise. These are fantastic boots! Still loving the cuff that ties tight so no water, debris or little bugs;-) gets into boots. I would absolutely repurchase again.Original post:The boots are thin & flexible. But not too thin to make them tear just enough to make them super flexible. They fit as expected but they definitely won’t fit with super thick socks on. They have a small toe area( height) but are wide enough in toe area. Like another said, size up if your wanting to wear thicker socks for warmth or comfort. I really like the band around the top (with the straps) so no water or debris fall down the boot. Also, love the lip on the back of the boot to aid in taking the boots off with the other foot(if that makes sense?) and like I said, they are very flexible and dont restrict while moving around doing yard chores. These boots are almost perfect for what I want them for.... watering garden/lawn, garden/yard work & doing outside chores. The cons for me are they aren’t as comfortable as regular boots are(what do I expect though, they are rain boots) so working in them outside for a while will prob not be that comfortable. I thought of sole inserts but I believe that might be a problem with slipping my feet in & out all the time..? Also, there is some traction on the bottoms but easily slippery when wet lawn comes into contact under my feet. There is no heel to these so your definitely feeling super flat foot walking around. aAmost to the point of it feeling like my heal is sitting down further than the balls & toes of my foot. Strange feeling. Not sure how long these will last but for the cost of these with the cuff and straps versus other brands, this seemed the better deal. Although, you get what you pay for. In my opinion, these boots should be a little less in cost. None-the-less, I’m satisfied with my purchase. I’ll update when I get more wear & insoles for the boots.

I removed the toggles... so lightweight and comfortable! **UPDATE: 5 stars to 3 stars
Loving these so far. It's been a super rainy week and I've worn these daily, all day, for several days now. They are very flexible, lightweight, and waterproof. I do not have any discomfort after wearing these all day. It was difficult to drive with my prior rain boots due to their stiffness, but no problem driving with these. I generally wear a 7 medium, and purchased the 7. Fit is perfect with thin socks. I tend to cross my legs quite a bit when sitting, and the hard plastic toggles on the collar were uncomfortable, so I simply removed the toggles and I just tie the cords in a little shoestring bow. Problem solved. Cute.**UPDATE: Well, just a few days later, and the right insole now slides back when I walk. I repositioned it, but it immediately slides again. How disappointing. Maybe I can remove the insoles and place new ones.***UPDATE: Purchased these: "Spenco Rx Comfort Thin Lightweight Cushioning Orthotic Shoe Insole, Women's 7-8.5/Men's 6-7.5" and cut them to size using the original (nonfunctional sliding) insoles for measurement. Discarded the originals. These are working very well! No sliding insoles anymore. :)

Worked well when needed most
Love these boots. I purchased them just be fire Hurricane Florence came through with a lot of rain. I wore them in the wet days after. I have wide feet (EE) and the 8 wide fit well. I had to Walk 2.5 miles in them one day with dry, happy feet

Cute, But Not Arthritic Friendly
I have arthritic feet, and use orthotics in my shoes. These boots are small from the top of the instep to the bottom of the foot. Just pushes down on the top to the point that it hurts my feet. To be honest, I haven't yet found a boot that is "cute" but fits with my orthotic. I thought these might be of soft enough rubber (I wear other soft Crocs - just not boots) that they would fit comfortably. But sadly, that was not the case, even though they are cute!
