What's the difference between 20G, 18G, 16G and 14G?

They represent different thicknesses of nose ring. The bigger gauge of the ring, the thinner the ring, 20G means the ring thickness is 0.8mm, 18G→1.0mm, 16G→1.2mm, 14G→1.6mm. Tips: The thinner the ring, the easier it is to get through the piercing.
