This worked perfectly! It is sturdy and I was able to lift and secure my heavy couch that has awkward feet on it.

I used these to raise my son's bed so he could fit storage tubs underneath. They work well and are very sturdy. He weighs about 260 lbs.

Perfect for raising an old recliner. They are high enough to raise it off the ground, but don’t show too much. They are wide enough that the chair hasn’t moved and fallen off.

It seems that their low 2" profile will get the job done. In my tiny, not-enough-closet-space house, I need to find storage space wherever I can.
