HELLA H83165012 HB3 9005 12V 100W High Performance Xenon Blue Halogen Bulb Set

These hella 100 watts are definitely bright. As you can see by the pic they Are as bright if not a bit brighter than the LED's but are yellowish in tint, NOT BLUE at all. If you are looking for that crisp white light with the bluish tint, go LED/HID. I would not recommend using these 100 watt halogens as low beams, lots of glare and might get you cited considering they are not street legal. I'd rarely use them since my LED's are plenty bright. I don't think you will be disappointed if you need that extra boost of light on those dark stretches of highways/roads. 100 watt bulbs burn much much hotter. Make sure your electrical system and headlight assembly can handle the extra power draw and heat. Remember to respect the oncoming driver by shutting off the high beams. Drive safe!

The two other reviews are totally bogus! They are likely by the suppliers of the Phillips bulbs here on Amazon. Checkout [...] to learn more about Hella lights. These are 100 Watt bulbs! Not the cheap blue junk: a.k.a. NOooKeeeYuh. I put these in my high beams on my 2011 Subaru WRX STI. They are very bright and nicely compliment my HID low beam color.Real HID's for highbeams are not a good idea because highbeams get turned on and off too much which is hard on the ballasts & they don't switch on & off quick enough anyway. You will like these so much you'll be telling everyone you know to get them.

Save your dollars and see more with Philips Vision Plus bulbs. I actually bought these and then returned them after further research shows that you actually can see more with just the plain Philips Vision Plus bulbs. I used the Blue bulbs for 10 years and was always wondering why my headlamps were so dim, especially driving at night through the Colorado mountains.Then I tried the plain Philips Vision Plus and now the mountain roads light up a night! Plus, the blue bulbs do not work as well in the rain.

Is not as described at all. Packaging says blue color, buyers claim white color, after swapping one in when I got it, I got a soft white glow equaling to maybe 300k more than my stock yellow bulbs. It's funny because the bulbs themselves are blue, and it claims they glow blue, but yet it's not even remotely close to blue. Save your money if you think you'll get anything else than your OEM bulb.

It is difficult to tell much if any difference from original, stock bulbs. These are defiantly not blue as their name implys. They seem to be same color as originals. I should have replaced with regular bulbs and saved myself $50.BB

One flash of these things and the dude with the hi-beams coming at you really gets the message.

My dad had me add these to his SUV. easy to install the night bright light.

These are great bulbs at a great price.
