It is drop forged made of solid high grade carbon steel material as mention in the specifications. I made this purchase for my hobby and household usage. It is actually named as Cobbler Pincers for nails extraction or cobbler's use but also used by carpenters and at households. It is a must have tool. I am fully satisfied with the purchase of this tool with the small issue of pricing. MRP mentioned on the pack is Rs.287/- but I was charged Rs.299/-. I took the issue to Amazon and they agreed to the refund the excess amount charged and will also correct the list price on Amazon.
