24in Outdoor AC Deflector Cover,Stainless Steel Wind Baffle,Round

I’m extremely pleased with this baffle.The size is perfect for my AC unit. Sturdy enough that it didn’t blow off when my AC turned on before I attached the zip ties - it didn’t even move or rattle before I put the ties on it. (I turned AC off before attaching zip ties). It really directs the hot air like I was hoping it would. My plants and the shade cloth that covers the pergola over the unit are going to last a lot longer. Wish I had bought it sooner.

First class deflector. This comes with a number of ties which hold the deflector to the fan grill. I purchased additional, rather strong ties, and secured the deflector to the fan grill rather securely! Great product, well made, and it works

I needed a way to deflect air from my side discharge so it was not hitting a neighbor's window. This looked like exactly what I needed so I purchased it. Unfortunately between being too flimsy and slightly too small of a fit it was blocking too much air and creating back pressure on the fan. That doesn't mean it won't work for some situations but it definitely is not universal. I would also question how much it is going weather the weather if you know what I mean. It appears to be painted and not powder coated so the small quality issues with the joints and cut-outs will likely rust in the long term. I'm initiaing a return for these reasons. 3/5 stars and will look at the larger rectangular units instead.

Well, I just got them installed, and we shall see if this makes a difference. Like others have said, no instructions for installation whatsoever, however if you remove your grills first it makes it a lot easier to install and it is pretty straight forward. All necessary ties included. To the manufacture, if you are reading this comment, make the double holes for mounting at both the top and the bottom of this grill. I'm assuming the you only did one side because it was meant to face down instead of up, but many people like myself will need upward orientation, not down. It is very secure with the ties, no rattling so far. It does however seem to discharge a lot of the hot air off to the side instead of up and I'm pretty sure this is because of the open end construction of the fins. Hopefully this will not be an issue causing the unit to pull back in it's hot discharged air. I will update if this does or does not work out. Oh, one more important note, there does not seem to be any back pressure on air discharge so far. Good luck if you are looking to solve this type of problem. 8/20/26 I ended up returning these and ordering another design in hopes that they work better. These were throwing a lot of the hot air off to the sides of the unit, and my unit was still ingesting that hot air. I'm certain this is because of the open end design. I will be trying a boxed end design to see if that works. I need that hot air to go straight up without any side discharge. Something to note if you have my type of unit that is in a tight space. Would not buy. There were NO instructions/recommendations on how to attach the deflector. The only thing provided were zip ties!…no screws, clips etc. to secure the deflector to the unit. I can only imagine the “rattling” while the air is on, which would be more disturbing than the air blowing towards you. The quality is very cheap. Unfortunately I didn’t open the box until my installer came, which was past the return date. An expensive mistake on my part, lesson learned.

Using these on the outdoor units of my mini splits which are located in a 5ft narrow alleyway on the side of the house. This redirects the air so it doesn't bounce off the cement block wall back to the unit. It works perfectly.

Very easy to install comes with its own Wire Ties which makes it simple and easy to install A note I took the screen off the condenser 04 screws makes it so much easier to use the ties
