Maxim Enterprise Wooden Animal Train Set 7 Piece

I bought this set for a christmas gift. It is a quality train set made of wood and it fits the track we have that is not of the same brand. The train rolls well and the animals are a nice bonus. The kids like picking up and dropping them off at the made up zoo. Very cute! We have had them for a while now and there has been no paint wearing off and all the wheels are still in good working order :)

I bought this with the 67 piece track set for a friend and the following is her email comments on both back to me" "The order came last night. It is a really nice set and just what I wanted. The tracks are smooth and fit together just fine. My tracks are not compatible. I think they might be it I was able to remove the plastic pieces. But by itself there is lots of track. The car set is as cute as can be and fits on the tracks just fine. The animals are adorable. For its purpose it is perfect. Thanks for your help."

For the price, it's great! Wheels look cheap but actually run on the various branded tracks much better than most of the branded trains do! Hard to find carriages things can sit in. Other toys will struggle but the animals it came with are enough. Would recommend.

I ordered this train to go with my daughter's Brio set because I really liked the idea of the animal train. The train DOES work on the Brio tracks, but it is kind of rickety compared to the Brio trains - the wheels are very thin so that they can fit different tracks, and they tend to wobble on curves, frequently leading to toppling over around curves. I was also disappointed that on the little green car at the end, the roof came off only a day after we got it - the glue must have been very poor quality because it had hardly been played with at all. I was able to mend it with superglue, but my daughter was disappointed that she had to wait another day to have the train back. So, it's an okay toy. It works, and it was the only animal train I could find at the time, but I would really like to see something like this offered in a higher quality product.

I really like the products of this maker. I have some which are something like 16 or 18 years old. Although I like those I bought this time the older ones noticeable better well-made.

It is perfect fir a young toddler as the cars aand animals are to big to swallow or put intge mouth, tgey are wood and stuck together magnetically.

I just received this today. I was a little nervous after reading one of the reviews that said it was small. It is small but I don't think it's too small. My son is 16 months old and loves trying to connect all his trucks together so I thought the magnets would be easy for him. The train seems to be a good quality. None of the paint is chipped. The only down side I've seen so far is that the magnets get stuck/attach on the metal wheels now and then. It isn't a big problem and an older child would have no problem with it. My son is a little young for the toy but he loves it!

I wanted to love this toy. Its cute, it really is. Looks nice. Here are the issues. It BROKE after once use. Not kidding, the top of the caboose came off. So I'm guessing not terribly well made. Also, the box cars constantly fall over when using. Like every single time. So the animal falls out and my son gets frustrated. Now the next point i knew when i bought it but i didn't know how annoying it would be to my son. It doesn't have as many spaces to hold the animals as it does animals. Just overall too many flaws. I would recommend skipping.

ブリオのレールで遊ばせるつもりで買いました。互換性があると書いてあった通り車輪の幅とレールの幅は合っていましたが、車体の幅が妙に狭く、車輪がガチャガチャ横に動いてしまい、レールに乗せにくいです。塗装も角がすぐ欠けたりして安っぽい感じは否めません。ブリオの車両のほうが明らかに高級で安全です。 色柄はとてもかわいく、車両に動物を乗せられるので本人は気に入っていますが、実物を見ていたら買わなかったかもしれません。
