If you are worried that they will get too hot and not last in gloves then you can try putting them in a small cloth baggie first. I do about 5 mile hikes in the winter from -10 to 30 degrees F no problems with cold toes. I found out that sticking them above your toes works much better than under them. Under you toes they get wet and clumpy and horribly uncomfortable. On top of toes they are great. Stick them directly to the top of your socks above your toes and then put your shoes on like normal. No fussing about trying to stick them in the shoe themselves. I don't bother using them in my gloves as my hands stay plenty warm in my wool gloves. The kind that are wool mittens but you can open the ends if you want like a convertible wool mitten. **Q: please give me more info on this product first time i have ever heard of this product** A: Used one package, two pads in a package, in my regular ( non winter) hiking boots for 5 hours of zero degree Fahrenheit temperature hiking. They keep my toes from from being too cold or becoming numb while walking. They aren't thick or big enough in that weather to make your feet feel warm, rather they keep them from hurting. Thin and small enough so you can place the pad under your four small toes in the toe box area without having to walk on it with the ball of your foot and possibly interfere with the fit of your boot. They're really flat and when you walk around its not bulky or a problem with fitting in the shoe , I wear size 6 and 7 shoes and they fit over my toes and up to the arch almost. Stick to your sock.
