Seems to work well enough, but after the first time using it there's a burn mark on the machine, below where the rice tray sits. After using it a couple more times, the burn marks growing bigger, and is beginning to make the plastic peal off. Kinda scared this thing is gonna catch fire soon. Really bummed about it since this is the third rice cooker I've bought in six months. I just want rice :(

My husband bought me this rice cooker when our old one broke down finally after over 5 years. Same brand as my last rice cooker, so I am sure this one will last many years to come as well. I love that the power cord is detachable from the cooker itself. It's not a huge rice cooker but feeds my family of 4 plus my when my in laws come over, it feeds thier party of 8 and us 4, no problem! Clean up is a breeze too!

This rice cooker and warmer was a great buy for the price. Not only does it cook rice, but it came with a vegetable steamer basket that will steam as the rice is cooking! I would definitely recommend this product.

It cook really fast better than other rice cooker that I would buy. But I would watch out if it might burn inside the metal. Just like other people make the same comments

Spend a little bit extra and get something better. Following the instructions exactly it burns the rice every time. There are no options for different types of rice, cook times etc. The instructions on how to steam vegetables with it are basically that you need to experiment with water amounts and times until you find what works. I thought I only wanted a basic rice cooker but I'm actually a bit disappointed since I've yet to get properly cooked rice out of it, perhaps some bells and whistles are necessary.

This items electronics is great but the rice pan's nonstick coating began to peel off after 5 uses, I have never used an abrasive sponge for cleaning

Bought to replace a ten year old Japanese rice cooker-- figured we'd upgrade in size, too.We haven't used the steamer setting yet, but I've been making riceballs like crazy. The kids are delighted.Only feature it doesn't have that I miss is being able to set when the rice will be done, so you can have hot rice for breakfast, and the bigger size makes up for that.

It works well for cooking rice and steaming other goods and if that's all you care for then it's great. The only issue I've come across is that the heating plate on the bottom OVERHEATS greatly (no temperature dial to change this) and can burn the bottom of the pot. That and if water drips in (which it will) the end result will be a concentrated scorch mark that compromises the area around it.

me mandaron una arrocera golpeada, pero lo malo no fue eso, esque ya estaba golpeada la caja principal y asi la mandaron en la caja de amazon!la arrocera llego quebrada y no la puedo utilizar!
