Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Hair Oil with Biotin, 2 oz | Hair strengthening oil, with biotin & castor oil, dry scalp care, split end support, frizz smoothing

I got this because I had some thinning along my hair line and wanted my many "baby hairs" to stop sticking up all over the place and needed something to help them grow. It's only been a month in, but I can already tell it is working. What I do is every night when I am doing my nightly routine washing my face/brushing teeth I first wash my face/get all my makeup off, and once I have used my cleanser then washed off I use this. I use this before putting my toner and serums on. I apply it all along the hairline and since this bottle comes with a dropper, it makes it precise and helps it not go everywhere. After I apply a few drops all along my hairline on my forehead I gently rub it in with my fingertips and then take a brow brush or brow spool and brush it in and back like im going to put my hair in a ponytail. I let that sit for about 20 minutes then wash it off with water. This is particularly good on nights if you use or apply masks or skin treatments, because you have to let the mask sit for a certain amount of time so doing this with it helps take care of both at once. I have also started to use this on my eyebrows as well to help with over plucking so I can grow my eyebrows back in and its really actually working! I have been trying so long to try and get my sparse hairs to grow in and full and nothing has worked but this stuff. I take a few drops and put it on each brow and rub it in the brow line then take a brow spooling and brush it in. Wait about 15 to 20 minutes then wash out with water then your done. The key is consistency and this will work. The smell is like a cleaner version of like a Vicks Vapor rub, but not super strong. I love using this stuff at night because it opens up my nasal passages before bed. This product comes in a glass jar with a glass dropper and rubber dropper head. This stuff really works! This stuff has done so good so far I can't wait to see what a few more months will do. Next I am going to start trying this stuff in my hair for split ends and I have full faith they are going to start looking fabulous 👌Update** I'm so mad at myself, because I wish I would've taken a before picture to put with progress photos to show how much this has had an effect on my hair growth! This is doing great for my hairline, but I noticed alot of the reviews on this was for baby hairs and for regular hair growth, so I wanted to put forth some info on if and how well this does for other areas such as eyebrows, and let me tell you, this stuff is absolutely AMAZING for that! The photos above are my eyebrows at about 3 to 3 and 1/2 weeks in using this product. I only had hair where the inside of the green boxes are, and honestly the picture doesn't do it justice, because this product helped fill in those areas too. All the outside of the green boxes is from using this product. I cant believe what I'm seeing grow, it's amazing :) The picture with my lashes is to show where I apply this along my lash line where the green line is. Those are my natural lashes with nothing on them and this stuff has made them full and longer. (I do not apply the dropper itself along the lash line, after applying to my eyebrows and hair line when rubbing the product in I use what is left on my finger and swipe gently along the lash line.) I will update again to post another photo of what it looks like once I get to the 2 and 1/2 to 3 month mark.Update 2** So I said I would update on the 2 to 3 months mark, so I got those on the pictures now and the 5 month mark as well. The pictures speak for themselves, this stuff really works! I never thought I would be able to grow my eyebrows back in until I stumbled upon this little miracle in a jar. Absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend to others :)

These actually work, well from what I noticed. When I started using it, I noticed baby hairs growing in stops there was none. It smells great and clean, easy to use also. It helps you also style your hair, leaves it glossy and smooth.

I bought it for my husband to help with hair loss; it has a nice scent and is easy to apply. However, it leaves the hair very greasy and oily—he didn't like it. It does smell good, though. I’d recommend it, but just be aware that it leaves a lot of oil behind—so if you like your hair that way, it’s great.

so I turned 40 and I have been noticing so much fall out in the shower.. like it’s crazy how much hair I lose. I usually have it up in a slicked back bun.. and since I slick it back, it doesn’t move much, so sometimes I wouldn’t brush it out the next day and just leave it. Didn’t think much of it until a few months of being lazy with my hair and I was losing 3x the normal amount in the shower and brushing. Regular brushing stimulates your hair follicles and keeps them healthy and working.. I still have really long really thick hair, so you can’t really tell, but it just bothers me seeing that much hair in the shower and my hairbrush.. makes me wonder how much more hair I would have if I didn’t shed so much.Anyway, I came across this product in an effort to thicken my hairline bc that’s the only place I could visibly see thinning. Originally, I came on here to get Minoxidil but somehow found this instead. I ended up purchasing this, the shampoo, the conditioner, and the leave in. I did not get the hair mask because there were too many reviews of people saying it made their hair fall out too quick all at once in the beginning… Which if you look up hair growth products such as Minoxidil (Rogaine), that’s a possible side effect because it can cause a ton of shedding at once.. and that can freak people out. Kinda scared me so I figured an essential oil would probably be safer, and there is tons of peer reviewed papers about the effectiveness of rosemary oil and hair growth by way of stimulating the hair follicle.Just for reference, I have long thick brown hair (caucasian) and YES this is heavy on my hair if i’m not really careful how much I use, but I wear my hair up in a bun 7 days a week so it’s not a problem for me. On the rare occasion that I wear my hair down, I use the shampoo and the conditioner and very very little leave in.Look I don’t want to jinx myself or anything lol but ever since the first day I put this oil on my scalp, I barely shed at all. I wish I had pics.. the shower is so much less traumatic when i’m not losing so much hair every time I wash it. At first, I used the dropper but that can be messy.. and since I have European hair, I can’t just put it on my scalp between braids.. so I had to get one of those oil dispensers that have the steel balls you roll over your scalp. The only ones that actually work are the $25 range with a little red light and vibrations but well worth it. I tried to be cheap and buy one for under $10 but that was a mistake because the oil wouldn’t come out and it was just too difficult. I returned it and bought a different one with good reviews that works every time. I usually dilute it with a little water just so it comes out easier. I am so happy I found this product.ps. I never took a before picture… But I literally just washed my hair, took a pic of the drain collection, and came on here to update this. That little teeny TINY wad of maybe 20 hairs is my entire fallout from washing today. My hair is 24 inches and normally I lose 10 times that amount.. that’s underestimating.. It’s usually a legit handful of hair. Like this is nothing. I’m so excited to see how my hair looks when I actually keep the majority of it on my head instead of it going down the drain !!update: It’s probably almost a year later and i’m still using this 4/5x a week and the shedding is still minimal. I use olaplex shampoo and conditioner now but so far everything stays stable. Sometimes I still use the shampoo because I like it so much. Very happy- i’ll probably never stop using this. Hard to tell how much it’s grown but probably a couple inches. I had little regrowth hairs all over my head for months and they stood out straight from my regular hair. that lasted four months but they grew and blended in. This changed my life as far as my hair is concerned. Also, using the oil dispenser really doesn’t make your hair greasy if you are careful and don’t over use it. It absorbs pretty quickly. Love love love this. Hope it works for you too !!

Hey guys, I ordered this a few weeks/months back and so far this has been working PERFECTLY for me. I have a new bottle on the way right now. I love Mielle and this is my favorite oil they have made yet, it works. It grew out my bald spots and thickened my hair up by a lot, I know a lot of reviews say that it makes clumps of hair fall out but I want to say that this oil works well but only on CERTAIN HAIRS! I am African American black female with 4c hair and it has worked for me, my mom and all of my other family members with 4c hair and we have had no problems what so ever. I would say this works perfectly on 4a,4b, 4c and maybe even 3c. A lot of people with straight or wavy hair textures have reported their hair falling out or it making their scalp itchy or burning their hair off or even it just making their hair greasy. That doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with this oil it’s just maybe this oil wasn’t for them as black hair, as in the hair textures that black and mixed race people tend to have, is more suited or stronger for products like this which is why our hair can handle cool protective styles like cornrow braids but others with straight or wavy hair can’t. Using this product has helped me a lot within four months and don’t get me wrong, I still experienced breakage of course, it’s natural but nothing major like the shedding that people have reviewed and that is solely because of my hair type. If you have hair like mine then you have literally nothing to worry about, but if your allergic to peppermint or your hair is wavy or straight or even curly but not as in black people curly (Mixed race people included), then this product is NOT for you as it WILL result in your hair falling out, it WILL result in your scalp stinging, it WILL result in itching and redness and shedding. I know this because some of my white friends or friends with straight/wavy hair tried this product and their hair all had one of the symptoms I listed above after using it compared to me, my family and friends with afro hair. Overall, I actually like this product. I have damaged 3a, fine, low porosity curly hair and bought this product hoping to alleviate PCOS related hair loss and some scalp and ends dryness. I saw so many people recommend this product with incredible before and after pictures, showing how this oil was practically able to work miracles and regrow their hair in only a few months. I’ve been using this product consistently for 4 months now and these are the results and some pro’s and con’s.Twice a week, I would part my hair and put a few drops on my scalp, then gently work it in with my hands. I tried leaving it in for 30 minutes before a wash, a few hours before, then eventually the night before I intended to wash my hair the next morning.Over the course of 4 months, there has been no difference in hair or scalp health and I’m still shedding and losing hair like crazy. The hair that grows back isn’t really growing in thicker, healthier or faster either- there really has been no difference.A month ago is when I decided to change how I use the product. After washing my hair, putting in my leave-in conditioner and styling with a denman brush, I started adding a few drops of this oil (only about 3-4) into my palms and would gently scrunch it into my hair.This is where the product really worked for me. It helped my hair curl and retain that curl for a lot longer! My hair looked shiny and was holding a lot better than it was before. Since my hair is low porosity and fine, I was worried that oil would weigh it down and make it greasy, but this particular oil is pretty easily absorbed into my hair.It’s a good oil and works with my low porosity hair, which is more than most oils do. I’ve been using it as a curl enhancer in my daily routine, but can’t give it a higher rating because it really just isn’t working as it was advertised. My scalp broke out a few times using it and my hair isn’t thicker, softer or healthier after using it for months. If you like rosemary and mint smells then this is perfect. I use it sparingly if I use it during the day as it can make your hair crazy greasy you will need to wash out before going out.Otherwise I love the smell and how it helps my dry hair. Waiting to see if it helps with my hair thinning as I was recommended by my hairdresser.

Don’t know if I am using correctly and I am not measuring my hair growth but I do love this product and I know I have seen growth in my edges at the front ! Love this product

Ich habe das Mielle Rosemary Mint Öl jetzt zu etwa 3/4 aufgebraucht und kann sagen: Ich mag es wirklich sehr.Vorweg ein paar Worte zu mir und meinen Haaren: Ich habe feines, lockiges Haar und lege viel Wert auf Pflege, die sowohl Kopfhaut als auch Längen gut tut.Bevor ich das Öl das erste Mal benutzt habe, habe ich es vorsichtshalber in der Armbeuge getestet – alles problemlos.Ich wende es 1–2 Mal pro Woche vor der Haarwäsche an. Dazu trage ich einfach ein paar Tropfen mit Hilfe der Pipette über meine Kopfhaut verteilt auf und massiere es mit einer Silikon-Kopfhautbürste sanft ein. Danach lasse ich es mindestens eine Stunde wirken. Vor allem am Haaransatz und im Nacken sehe ich inzwischen deutlich mehr feine, neue Härchen (normalerweise habe ich keinen Pony). Das fühlt sich schon ziemlich schön an und ist ein tolles Ergebnis.Ob das jetzt nur vom Öl kommt oder von der Kombination aus Öl, Massage und meiner sonstigen Pflegeroutine, kann ich ehrlich gesagt nicht zu 100% sagen. Wahrscheinlich ist es die Mischung aus beidem.
