The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which is a nice change from some competing products. A little goes a long way if you mix it according to the instructions. It handles both sealed hardwood and tile equally well, and I've had no issues using it on area rugs. It's particularly effective at cutting through kitchen floor grime and pet messes without damaging the floor finish. One minor gripe is the bottle design - it can be a bit messy when measuring and pouring into the machine's tank. I ended up transferring it to a squeeze bottle with a precision tip to make filling easier. Also worth noting that while it works great in the HydroVac, you're basically locked into buying this specific solution to maintain your warranty. For regular maintenance cleaning it does the job well, though you might want something stronger for deep stains or heavy soil.
