These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

The reviewers are raving for a good reason, it's the greenest, safest, srturdiest truck I have seen (please let me know if you know otherwise). I bought this for my 13 mos. old son and he didn't want to let go as soon as it caught his eye. No problems with the wheels in our case (as I've seen some of the reviewers mention it). What else can I say that hasn't been mentioned already, probably not much at this point other than my kid is having fun with it. It's fun, educational, sturdy, durable, practical and ecologically responsible. It also makes me happy that we make it right here at home. I try to do some research on most of the kids' toys (yes...I am a bit picky when it comes to health and safety of my children, but not extremely paranoid ;) However I do have some concerns especially over Bisphenol A and other harmful industrial chemicals because frankly anything in your household can become an improvised teether for a baby or when they start getting that "explorer" twinkle in their eye. 20 April 2015 - Edit Review: It's been close to 6 years since we've owned it, it's all in one piece and survived our 4 kids and a few hundred playdates over the years. Currently my 11mos old is "fascinated" with it and wants to play with it everywhere (we have hardwood floors on main level, and we also take it outside on the concrete/grass/sand/mud/puddles etc. think all reasonable surfaces for a curious and walking enabled toddler). In fact, all of our green toys products and toys are still in excellent condition, no cracks or broken off pieces. Very easy to clean too! I can't get over the quality of this plastic, it's super durable. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan of green toys and sincerely appreciate environmentally responsible American company that makes awesome great quality toys for children that are time-tested. If you had the same in your country you would be proud too!!!! Keep it coming, Green Toys!

Good quality and not harmful

Another in a great line of toys trucks from Green Toys. My children love these toys and they are great hits as presents. After buying and using many, I have only good things to say. We have not had any issues -- as have some others -- with the wheels and rolling on different flooring. We use the toys indoors on tile and carpet and outside on tile, dirt and sand and the trucks have performed well -- rolling easily on all the surfaces. They do not roll as free-wheelingly as trucks with steel axles and all, but just because of the fact that they have no metal parts, they are much more durable and userful. Nor rust and more rugged -- surprisingly -- than outdoor play toys with metal parts. The wheels are cambered and that helps to absorb the shock of a toddler sitting on top. The when mechanism is very cleverly designed as well and stronger than anything we have seen in similar toys. The trucks have survived being sat and jumped on, thrown out of the 2nd story window, tossed down two flights of stairs, and being smashed into walls. To date, the truck still looks almost new.

Great mid sized dump truck. Not as big as a Tonka but plenty big for an 18 month old. Very sturdy.

We LOVE GREEN TOYS! All Green Toys are hot items in our home.Some reviews mention the wheels not turning on hardwood floors. We have carpet and tile and have had no issues We have so many of them! My 3 and 1 year old love them. The bright colors are visually appealing. I feel that they are safe for my kids to use and paly with since they are made from recycled milk jugs. I also think the "green" aspect is WONDERFUL! These toys are heavy duty. They go to the pool, beach, dirt, park, bathtub - EVERYWHERE! They are thrown, kicked, stepped on and still in PERFECT condition. Super easy to clean, just throw them in the dishwasher. No bells and whistles which means my kids can use their imagination. I love that they don't require batteries, aren't noisy and do not have any stickers that will peel off. These are super high quality and worth every penny. I recommend these toys to ALL parents. The dump truck is one of my boys' favorites! Thanks for making such a great product!

This is probably my son's favorite toy. He's 14 months (got it when he was 12 months) and he plays with it every day and loves making truck sounds as he drives it around and loads up the back with other toys. It holds up to a lot of abuse (being dropped and driven off high tables) and it's still in perfect shape. The only issue I have is that the edges around the windows are pretty sharp/unfinished and my son actually managed to cut his finger pretty badly when he fell while holding the truck by the little divider in the front window. So I'd be aware of that when kids are playing with this (after his accident we put tape around the edges to protect his fingers).

Boy loved it

Absolutely love it (so did the bub and the dad). Very sturdy construction even though it's made of recycled plastic. The four wheels are independent of each other which makes it free wheel very easy across the carpet and sand pit. The colours are classic and very well coordinated even adults loves them. Got it a a great price here at Amazon, highly recommend this and other Green Toys range!

It's a great toy truck. The size is bigger than you can imagine from the picture. It's well built and my baby loves to play with it. After lot of throwing and dropping, it is as sturdy as can be. It is very boy-ish and would definitely recommend for any boy. It has no music or is not batter operated . My son is pushes it and the wheels are good enough to move couple of feet once pushed.

Great quality, the size is big,the design is simple and perfect, my son loves it, and i bought the set it better for playing with my son
