MUNGYO Gallery Artists' Soft Oil Pastels, 24 Assorted Colors - Professional Grade Oil Pastels for Artists

These oil pastels were bought as a Christmas Gift for my son's girlfriend. Great bang for your buck for a quality product. So many colors! She loved them and stated she has had no issues with them and the smoothness is as expected. They also look nice in their case.

These pastels inhabit the upper rungs of the second tier of oil pastels available to artists. The first tier is occupied by Sennelier and Caran D’Ache’s Neopastel. Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels are superb in handling, opacity, and color range. But they require a leap of faith because they do not disclose pigment or lightfast information. This means that the serious artist takes a chance using them. That said, they are fun to use, they are cost effective, they make a great gift, and they have a delightful texture. They do what an oil pastel should do - they blend and layer well and all of the usual techniques can be employed. I simply wish that the company would provide good lightfast information and pigment information. Then they would be perfect. They are so close to perfect already. And this set ihas a wonderful selection to get started. Highly recommended.

I have really enjoyed using this set. It blends easily and is exactly what I need for someone learning to use oil pastels. I definitely recommend! If you want a wider range of colors, you can get their other sets.

These are very good oil pastels. A cheaper but competitive quality alternative to higher end brands like Remebrandt. Really recommend them for casual hobby artists, like myself. Vibrant colours and a very good range of shades.

These are amazing. So smooth, so easy to blend and gets incredible coverage. I was able to immediately make a lot of depth. If your not used to oil pastels (like me) be prepared for more impressionist style as it's harder to get the fine details at first. I do recommend a smudge tool, fingers are ok but it's harder to control and see what your doing. I hate the paper sticks so I got the hard tip sponge ones. The price is honestly great for how good these are. I will say do research on what paper type to use, I've found them harder to use on extremely smooth paper and overly textured watercolor paper. Find your own middle ground but do get a heavier weight paper as you will be applying some pressure to get a thicker application.

Best oil pastel crayons

easy to use, vibrant colors and great for beginners and have bought them twice.

I love how pigmented these are. The color goes on intense and bright. Def suggest for beginners as I am one too. The color range was great just wish they included multiple color blacks and whites. I haven’t broken any of them and they are a breeze to use.

Super

It’s a really professional oil pastel and I’m so satisfied with it.

So good, the pastels are creamy, highly pigmented and as I beginner to coloring with oil pastels I would highly recommend this product

Great pastels-blend so smoothly.

LINDOS, não sei nem o que dizer. A entrega super rápida e o pacote super embalado, são tão macios que deformam se tocamos, recomendo!
