Chose this because of the great reviews. But it was a horrible experience. Firstly, I just couldn't separate the film from the sheet at the edge. Gave up after 10 minutes and called the Mrs. with longer nails. It was quite a struggle for her too. When we finally managed to, the protective sheet just couldn't peel off properly, tearing in multiple places after which it was impossible to remove the sheet. Tried 3 times. Had the same problem. In the end, my patience just gave away and I ended up dumping it in the bin. I'm surprised to see so many customers had it so easy. It was a real struggle for me and the Mrs. who tried too after I gave up. She called it quits after the second try. Defective/Fake product?

When you follow instructions on the install then it works great. I would recommend this product and will buy more for the rest of my windows.

First time I installed static cling product. Hints- Measure window as exactly as possible. Measure film exactly as possible. Cut straight lines with scissors. Hint to separating film from throw away plastic is to use painter's tape on one corner on both sides. This should have been included with written instructions. Then once painter's tape is stuck to the film, pull the tape apart and the film separates easily. I. first tried to use my fingers and finger nails unsuccessfully. I used old spray bottle filled with water to mist the window before putting on film. I recomend starting at the top and getting the top and one side squared. I used a credit card starting at top and working it down and to the sides keeping it straight. If you are careful, this is not difficult for the first-timer. Film works well and looks like the windows are actually made of frosted glass. 5 thumbs for this product.
