The saw was worth it for me. It seems like it will suit my purposes.
I have a few trees over 30" diameter to take down. I have a Stihl with a 20" bar and have used that on trees around 30". But a neighbor has a white pine near the house with a 40" diameter . After some thought and prayer and seeing this saw for the price it was offered at I bought it. It worked fine for the tulip poplar we took down and cutting the logs for the mill. It cuts fine if you let it cut and don't push it. It was a lot better being able to see where the bar is on the other side of the tree. Even for the few trees that I'll use it on it is worth it for me. It started with just a few pulls after I turned the switch on. It's a heaver saw of course but like I say I only intend on using it from time to time for bigger diameter trees. I'm now 75 so you younger guys should be able to handle it ok. Just use normal caution, pray and stay humble.

Powerful, inexpensive work horse
Just as I was hoping for. Farmmac 070 with 42 inch bar. Came in two shipments Bar and chain in one, powerhead in other. 2 days apart. As far as starting goes, my way of pull twice, pull choke 1/2, pull sputter, push choke in and start. Using the enclosed starting direction flooded it out. I don't use compression release, or lock the trigger. So far starting is easy. WARNING: HOLD PULL HANDLE TIGHTLY, IT HURTS WHEN YANKED OUT OF YOUR HAND. I use the pump oiler alot. Oil is cheap, bars/chains not so much. The saw feels good not like most of the knockoffs. Just keep in mind this is based on 1970s technology. It's a little slower, heavier, and consumes more fuel than its modern equivalent, at 1/4th to 1/5th the price. Maybe not for a professional but for me with ten 50 plus inch diameter trees to drop and cut up, this is perfect. Picture is 53 in diameter fir tree.

Very happy
Not as hard to start as they claim and customer service is excellent. This saw is a beast. Highly recommended for purchasing.

Works great!
Wish I bought the 42" bar as I will only be using this for larger cuts and the price difference wasn't much. Works great took out a 3ft dia oak tree and cut up all the large pieces and a few other 18" dia pine trees on first weekend. It does get more power after a few tanks of fuel. Not the fastest but for the price so far best value for my use.

Doesn’t work because of engineering flaw
The order arrived quickly, but the product itself is completely non-functional. After troubleshooting, I identified a clear design flaw in the choke mechanism. The pull does not properly engage the choke, and even when attempting to manually set the choke, it does not function as intended. In addition to that, the unit has a separate critical defect: there is no spark on the spark plug at all. I verified this during troubleshooting, which means the ignition system is non-operational. Even if the choke issue were resolved, the engine still would not start due to the lack of ignition. These are two independent and fundamental failures—one in the fuel/air control system and another in the ignition system—making the chainsaw unusable out of the box. Overall, this is a defective and poorly designed product. I will be returning it.

Absolute Beast!
I purchased this chainsaw for an Alaskan mill. So far I have cut six logs that were 25 to 35 inches in diameter. This thing is an absolute beast! Pounds right through every slab I’ve done so far just gotta make sure the chain is really sharp. It does guzzle fuel so every time I make a cut, I want make sure it has a full tank. The company was great on customer service. They emailed me after about two weeks asking if my purchase was going well. To my surprise after the call, they sent me a free electric chainsaw sharpener. This is what actually inspired me to make this review. I would say the only slide downside is that the chain tensioning device is located next to the bar. Making it a little bit challenging to tighten the chain when it is on the Alaskan Mill. Other than that, this thing is an absolute beast!
