I previously planted sunflowers using a similar kit from this same brand, and I was so impressed by how simple and interesting the whole process was. Everything grew so well that I didn't hesitate to pick up this Carolina Reaper and Ghost Pepper kit! I actually bought this one as a gift for my mom. She really enjoys the challenge of growing plants from scratch (from the very first seed) and she absolutely loves eating hot peppers. This kit is perfect because it’s truly "all-in-one"—it comes with the seeds, peat cups, and soil discs, so she can get started right away. If you're looking for a fun project or a unique gift for someone who can handle the heat, this is definitely the way to go!

Followed growing instructions to a T and just as outlined in the instructions....Not 1 seed produced a plant.....Not 1 seed of the ghost pepper or the habanero seeds came up after weeks.....Temps to get them to grow were controlled in a green house where the temp remained constant at 80 degrees and humidity at perfect levels daily.....very disappointed in these COSTLY Unproductive seeds.

We are starting our garden and wanted hot peppers. The Carolina Reaper and Ghost Pepper Grow Kit is the perfect. You germinate the seeds first then transfer them to the peat pots to grow. Once they are bigger you transfer them to regular flower pots. I’m so excited to be able to watch them grow from seeds to flowering pepper plants. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. Fingers crossed for a good pepper season.

Two stars because at least they sent the seeds. What they didn’t send were the peat pots, the soil, and the instructions on how to grow them or how to germinate and sprout them. The quality we will have to wait till the end of the summer and I don’t expect much taste as they should be so hot that there will be minimal taste, just a lot of heat.

Followed all the rules but not one seed grew... Maybe it was me but in any case it was a Bummer!

i love hot peppers and wanted to try to grow these. came with everything i needed to get started. i have them in a pot in the window and can't wait to see them growing.

I thought i paid for a live plant and got a fancy box with seeds and directions. Nope, not quite.
