Mobo Triton Pro Adult Tricycle for Men & Women. Beach Cruiser Trike. Pedal 3-Wheel Bike

I've been looking for a long time to find something I can ride on the nature trail close to my house. I'm 55, fat, lazy, and a weakling. I also have a balance disorder that won't allow me to use a two-wheeled velocipede. I've purchased and returned several vehicles that looked like great fun and great exercise, but were too hard to pedal or otherwise make them move. I was quite discouraged. Other recumbent trikes caught my eye, but they were too pricey. I took delivery of the Mobo Triton Pro in early February, and it sat in its box in my foyer while winter continued to rage on. We finally had relief from it just this past week. My son assembled my trike (the Youtube video is very helpful!) yesterday and it went back to the foyer to wait out the rain. :-P Today the sun finally peeked out between the clouds and the temperature was perfect! So I took the trike out to my driveway for its maiden voyage. OH MY GOODNESS, I'm so excited and happy! It rides smoothly, the seat is comfortable, I can pedal just fine, and the trike manages the slight slope of my driveway very well. Steering became intuitive quickly (I'm a klutz) and the brakes work great. The turn radius is really wide, which might bother some, but I should be fine on the trail, which is pretty straight and level. the trike doesn't pedal in reverse, but I learned a 3-point turn which let me turn around at the base of the driveway and pedal back up to the street. I just put my feet on the ground as needed and pushed myself backward. No problemo! I made probably ten laps that way, to get the feel of pedaling and steering, and I can't wait to take it out on the trail! I can tell already it's going to be so much fun and get me in shape this summer! I was panting when I sat down after just the short time I'd been riding, and my thighs and shoulders are a bit achy LOL! I had been concerned that I wouldn't get much of a workout in my upper body, but I can tell steering and breaking are going to get my arms working quite a bit, too. I can't rave about the Mobo Triton Pro enough! It's going to get this sedentary old lady in shape and keep her active into her "golden" years! I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone, but particularly those of us getting older and wanting to get, or stay, active and have fun doing it!

I am 71 years old and my birthday is upcoming. I have four different neuromuscular rheumatic autoimmune diseases that affect all my muscles, heart and lungs; osteoarthritis and osteoporosis and spinal deformity in my lower back; type 2 diabetes; and had two stokes in the past 2 years. I was in physical therapy at the hospital for two years and graduated to where I can workout on machine exercising my legs mainly, but I cannot use automated machines like a treadmill. Also walking long distances I have to use a cane because I am a fall risk for obvious reasons. The main machine I used in the physical therapy and at the athletic club is a Stationary recumbent bike similar to the mobile MOBO Trident Pro I ordered. I was impressed with the reviews of this cost effective option over the ones that cost thousands of dollars. I ordered the MOBU Triton Pro recumbent Trike on 9 November 2025 and it was labeled for shipment as FEDEX on 10 November and FEDEX received it in California on 11 November. FedEx did not update my delivery to Slidell Louisiana until the morning it was delivered on Friday November 14th. So delivery was somewhat efficient but FedEx could have provided the delivery date earlier than the date it was delivered. The assembly manual was very general and would have resulted in numerous reassembly steps even if paying attention to detail and I am a retired engineer who used to write installation instructions for technicians aboard US Navy Vessels. I found the U-Tube assembly video for the MOBO Triton Pro and used it to assemble by MOBO Triton Pro, but because I am old and blind in one eye from the last stroke, I used the pause and rewind since the steps move rather quickly and easy to make a mistake if not watching and assembling carefully. There are quite a few different MOBO Trident U-Tube videos from doing a Google search, so make sure you mention the Pro or you will be watching an older model assembly that is much different. I sprayed a waterproofing agent on the seat and back cushions. I waxed the metal parts with Torque Detail Spray Wax that I use on our two SUVs. I ordered a Water Bottle Velcro Strap Holder and recommended water bottles on Amazon to mount to the assembly between my legs especially after a significant rise in my heart rate and kidney pain from not drinking enough fluids. The MOBO Trident Pro Trike is an outstanding product at a reasonable price with free S/H, and if I like it with all my medical problems, it should convince others with similar problems. Lastly, Amazon did not mention where the MOBO Trident Pro was manufactured, but I contacted the seller to find out, and they quickly responded it is only made in China and Taiwan, sold all over the world, but final assembly is done by the user which is probably why it escaped US Tariffs.

My only complaint is I ordered a Brand-New trike and received a pre-assembled bike, as washer marks on painted surfaces showed it had been assembled before. The seat had slight splits in the sides not enough for me to go through the trouble of returning. Having said this I'm really happy with the bike I'm 76 years Old and while active I needed something to improve my aerobics, and this certainly does that. Most of the complaints I read were about the front wheel slips if going up a hill. So, as I knew about this, I added weights to the frame closest to that wheel and as I live on a hill it certainly helps maintain traction. Now to further improve that I'll make a z shaped metal bracket that will overhang the front wheel and with the weights now over that wheel it will increase leverage and should maintain good traction just a thought for future purchasers' bike is fun to ride especially coming back down a hill. I also created a hand brake by simply using two zip ties one around the handle with the brake lever and before tightening put another zip tie under the first tighten it to lock in place in line with top of brake lever, now just put the other zip tie around the brake lever creating a loop tighten enough just so brake pads are stopping the wheel from rolling this allows for the brake lever to be pulled a little more so that zip tie loop can be lifted off releasing the parking brake.

The product appears to be as advertised and should be perfect for my autistic son. However, even though the assembly seems straight forward I ran into a major problem with the first step. Attaching the steering assembly to the main frame didn't work because the holes are slightly out of line. With the nuts being welded to the frame there just is not enough wiggle room to get it started. I emailed the company and will follow up with a phone call tomorrow. Short of cutting off the welded nut, I'm not sure how to fix it. It may have to be returned. UPDATE: I did email the company, but they have never responded as of 2/22/21. I solve my issue with a bolt and nut I had on hand. UPDATE @: 2 other issues have come up with this product. The bolt for the right steering arm sheared off. Mobo replaced this. The final straw was the frame cracking with the arm that holds the front axel cracked. The bike is toast. Fortunately I had purchased the Asurion Warranty and am getting a full refund. I cannot recommend this product.

I got this bike last week and put it together today. It was a breeze to put together with every tool that you needed in the bag. It literally took me about 30 minutes to put it together. The instructions were great. I wrote it this morning and I wrote it again this evening and I truly love it. I am not a fan of bike riding just because it’s tough on the back. This bike does not hurt your back at all. It actually feels good to your core. I would highly recommend this for anyone, but especially for someone looking to exercise who might have some back or joint issues.

The Mobo comes disassembled, but it comes with a tool kit and excellent assembly instructions. You will need to inflate the tires before use. I am an 84 year old man who has had multiple back surgeries and bad knees. The Mobo is an excellent low impact device for someone with similar problems. However the Mobo is low to the ground and can be difficult to get back up after your ride. The hand brake does not have a lock button and the Mobo will tend to roll when trying to dismount. I solved this problem by ordering a replacement hand lever with a locking button. I can lock the brake and have both hands free to help dismount with the brake locked. Another problem for me is due to nerve damage to my right leg I had difficulty keeping my foot on the pedal. I solved this by ordering replacement pedals with adjustable straps. The above problems may not be a problem for people without physical limitations, but thought I should give a heads up to someone who may have physical problems similar to mine. The one serious problem that I have had is tire wear on the rear wheels. After riding around the block several times a day for a week, the tires were completely worn out. I called the manufacturer about the problem and they said they would send me two new tires and get back in touch with me the next week about the problem. I went ahead and bought two new tires from Walmart so I could go ahead and use the Mobo while waiting for the call back. LMobo for another week with no call back from the company yet. After this week I was noticing some unusual wear on the new tires. I got a tape measure and discovered that the rear wjeels were an inch closer together in the front of the wheels than the back of the wheels. I decided to adjust the tie rod that connects the two wheels by about 3/8 inches longer that corrected the wheels to equal distance from front to back. Hopefully this will correct the wear problem. After making this adjustment, the steering is much better. I really enjoy riding the Mobo and would have given it 5 stars if not for the tire wear problem and poor response from the manufacturer.

This is my first recumbent bike. I wanted something because due to medical reasons could not use a 10 speed/regular bike. In that regard its great. Very easy to use. Its comfortable enough but with distance riding you start wishing for a better padded seat. The steering is very nice and causes no issues with my disability and arthritis. You actually need to be careful cornering to fast as it can tip. The main issue is lack of gears. Its so easy to pedal, to get past walking speed over distance, need to pedal like mad. I have trouble keeping up with my son jogging along because of the prolonged speed I have to pedal for limited power output. Overall very nice bike for someone with physical issues. But, mostly I think for slower speed use, like walking. It desperately needs gears. To sum up. If you want a recumbent for other than walking speed. I would get one with gears. And try to get a bike with a better padded seat. But overall for a cheap first recumbent to see if you like them this is great. I am enjoying mine. Wish there was a way to add gears to it.

I bought this bike for my 11 year old autistic son who is unable to master riding a traditional bike do to the severity of his autism. Overall this bike seems to be very well constructed with what appears to be high quality parts. Assembly took about 20 minutes with the help of another individual which is not needed but definitely easier. On the first ride of about 15 minutes he had some trouble figuring out the steering. By the second ride of 30 minutes he had it down quite well. The third ride was 45 minutes and I feel he had mastered the steering. I finally had to get him to head home because honestly mom and dad were tired. This bike seemed to be a great way for him to get exercise as other than swimming he does not like to do much else other than swinging some. The only thing I would change on this is the brake system. It is almost impossible for him to use do to his size/ age and hard for him to comprehend due to the autism. It would be nice if manufacturer could come up with a better system for braking. To combat this issue I secured a long dog leash to the back of the bike to stop him if needed or keep him at a slower pace as otherwise he would take off and I would need to run to keep up. Overall I am quite impressed with this bike and have no issue with the cost as he now has the ability to get some great exercise and a great bike. As for a typical child my daughter rides it and likes it but honestly I am not sure I would pay the cost if it was for a child who could ride a normal bike.

Anstelle des mitgelieferten Vorderrad habe ich mir ein Rad mit einer Neus-Schaltung und en Tretlager mit Kurbel von einem Liegerad. War eine knifflige Arbeit mit viel Improvisation. Funktionoert jetzt aber einwandfrei. Den Grundrahmen kann ich nur empfehlen. Eine Gangschaltung am Rad wäre grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, da die Übersetzung im Original sehr kurz ist.

I have a bad back and haven't been able to go bike riding for some time. The Mobo changed all that. Now I can go riding without any stress on my arms, wrists, hands, back, and bottom. The Mobo is comfortable, fun to ride, and gives you a great aerobic workout. The trike has one speed so don't expect to go fast, just enjoy the ride. My wife and I each have one and go riding together on the local bike trails. They work best on man made surfaces like pavement, cement, tar and chip roads, or bike paths with fine gravel. It's a workout climbing hills so we try to avoid long steep slopes. It shipped quickly and arrived early. The trikes were very easy to assemble and in less than 1 hour were ready to ride. I used blue Locktite on all of the bolts just to make sure they don't come loose during a ride.

I am very happy with this product. My son has Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) / Dispraxia it has been a challenge to find a bike that he is comfortable riding and is also socially acceptable. We have know found it. He loves going for rides around the block by himself, and can now join us for family rides. I am slightly disappointed that it does not have speed settings. But we were aware of that when we purchased it. We love the three wheels for balance, the low profile for stability, and the angled seat for ease of use of core muscles. This is a great bike to build endurance and ability. The yellow flames 🔥 add a level.of style. Thank you for a great product.

Very fast delivery and easy for one person to assemble in about an hour. My 11 year old son loves the smooth ride but he does have to be careful not to over steer around the corners. Like many others who ride these, he has high functioning autism and has never come close to riding a bike, even with large training wheels. This was definitely the answer. There are two reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars though. Firstly, one of the tubes exploded the third time we took it out .It only cost $5 to replace the tube today but Grandma was visiting last night and my son had been very excited to show her he can ride now. Anyone who has a child with autism would understand that an unexpected disappointment like not being able to show off a new skill can (and did) end badly. The bike repair shop told me the tires should be inflated to about 20 psi and even at that they feel rock hard. Mobo's recommendation is to inflate the tires to 40 psi which is likely how they arrived. We will be reducing the pressure in the remaining two tires to try and prevent this from happening again. Secondly, I have only owned this bike for 3.5 weeks and now the same company is offering exactly the same model for $46 less. I have no way to contact the seller to ask questions or let them know the tire exploded, other than by commenting here. I would love to know if there was some kind of price protection during the first 30 days. Overall, a great purchase and we will have this Mobo in our family for a long time. Despite the small issues, we would still purchase it again. For less money though.
