It smells very nice, and the wood quality is good. When you put it behind your neck, it stretches out your spine. Definitely worth it!

I LOVE THIS THING!!! It hurt like the dickens the first time I used it. Admittedly, I was rougher with myself than I probably should have been and spend longer on it the first time than I probably should have. I can't stress how satisfying it is to feel that muscle knot screaming for realease and then finally giving up and going limp. I was deeply bruised and sore for several days, just like after a realy deep tissue massage. I immediately sent messages to several friends singing this thing's praises and I can think of at least 5 others that have ordered themselves one at my insistance. THere is nothing like it for tense neck muscles.
