Excellent floor cleaner
We just installed new laminate flooring and tore out all of our old carpet. We were looking for something that could both dry vacuum the floors, and mop when needed. It does an excellent job and with ease. The self clean mode is really nice to have. It’s got a nice design, easy to push, and has a lot of power. I’ve used it both for the new flooring as well as on the area rugs in the kitchen. If you’re looking for an easier solution than sweeping and traditional mopping, I’d recommend the Bissell Cross Wave. The only drawback is that per manufacturer instructions and other customer’s feedback, you should only use the Bissell chemicals for the wet mopping. Apparently, using pine sol or other non Bissell products will cause breakdown in some of the equipment. I haven’t personally tested this, but read many reviews that claim that only the Bissell chemicals work properly over time.

Great, until it wasn't
The suction on this vacuum was really great and was able to suck up all the dog hair from my 3 dogs even in hard to reach places. The mopping function was good, but you have to mop very slowly over the area for it to get cleaned thoroughly. The self-cleaning function in the dock and space to store the roller in the dock were fantastic, well thought out designs. Now for the bad...I had this product for 3 weeks before it broke. I had only used it a handful of times, and always according to directions in the manual only with Bissell cleaning protects meant for it. After each use I fully cleaned it and let it dry, making sure to remove any clogs from the inner tubes and filters. The last time I used it, it displayed an error code for the fan and wouldn't start. I contacted Bissell Support as instructed in the manual for that error code, and they were largely useless, following a script instructing me to follow troubleshooting steps in the manual and on their support forum (the steps for this specific error code are "Contact support", self resolution is not possible). After several days they directed me to use an authorized repair service to get it fixed. Before scheduling a repair, I checked the warranty documents and they say they don't cover fan issues, so now I'm left footing the bill for a defective product.Don't waste your money on this machine. Bissell normally makes good products, so I have no idea why they're missing the mark so badly on this one.

Perfect
It is the perfect dual vacuum. It works perfectly on all my floors and picks up my dog’s hair. The 2 speed choice is also a great factor. The size of the vacuum is perfect and light weight and filter cleaning is a breeze.

Worth the Price and Easy to Use
I’ve been using this vacuum regularly and it has made cleaning so much easier. It vacuums and mops at the same time, which saves a lot of time, especially with pets and everyday messes. I like that it’s cordless and easy to move around the house. The edge cleaning works really well along walls and corners, and the floors dry pretty quickly after using it.The dirty water tank is easy to empty and clean, and the self-cleaning feature is super convenient. Battery life has been good for my daily cleaning needs. Overall, it feels powerful, simple to use, and definitely worth it for keeping floors clean with less effort.

Great to vacuum and mop--does a great job
UPDATED JULY 2026:I use this vac/mop every week and find that since I am used to it, mopping is faster and uses less battery. My main issue was dumping the dirty water in the middle of cleaning as I won't use my sink for that or the toilet due to dog hair and having a septic. I have solved this by dumping into a medium-sized Loews bucket and then dumping th at outside after mopping and this works perfectly. I also need to refill the cleaning solution tank at least once-but it still beats a mop and bucket because it makes mopping fun and you're not pushing that dirty water around the floor.I dont find cleaning the machine bad at all and always do the self-cleaning 3X and then leave the brush rolls to dry in the furnace room. I would buy this again and look forward to the next version, hopefully with larger tanks and heated drying for the base.ORIGINAL REVIEW MAY 2026:I was deciding between this a Tineco Floor One S5, which I actually bought and retur ed after reading too many reports of unit failure after a short time. The Tineco had a lot of bells and whistles and larger capacity dirt and water containers, but I went with the Bissell because I know it and trust in a USA backed warranty. I also believe the Tineco brand is being over-hyped by influencers and not real users on social media. You are almost brain washed by the flood of videos showing Tineco products blowing away other well known names. Not so much about the company standing behind its products after electronic failures within a few months. So-I went with a company I know.Wow-its great to vacuum while mopping. My only concern is battery life. I have maybe 800 SF of bare hard flooring to mop and the machine just made it with 21% to spare. I did use Turbo several times though. It's much easier than mopping and more fun. I have a Spin Mop that works great, but you are recirculating dirty water and it's just too heavy to keep dumping and refilling the bucket. The floors looked great eith the Omniforce Edge and it is kind of fun to use. I did have to empty the dirty water cup 2x and refill the clean water cup 1X.Yes, there is clean up with this machine that is the same as a carpet steamer/shampooer, but I don't mind it. I strongly suggest buying at least 2 more brush rolls and filters. The first time I used it, I had washed the roller after doing the clean wash cycle and it held so much water it took 2 days to dry in my furnace room (yes, I did wring it out first). The clean cycle of the machine spins the water out much better than hand washing and wringing it so drying time is shorter then. It's way more expensive sive than a mop and bucket but will abolutley motivate me to mop more so it's worth it!
