Our house was built in 1970, and despite having already replaced the HVAC system and insulation, there’s still a 3–5°F temperature difference between the upstairs and downstairs during summer. On the hottest days, the bedroom can reach 78–80°F. Last month, I picked up a portable AC unit — installation was straightforward and took me only about 20 minutes. For the first two weeks, the weather was mild, so I used it mainly as a dehumidifier (it does require a drain outlet). It did a great job drying out the air, which made a noticeable difference in comfort. Then the heat kicked in over the past couple of days, and the cooling performance has been equally impressive. The noise level is acceptable. My favorite feature, though, is the auto-control and timer function. Since the second half of the night tends to stay cooler, I can set it to scale back or shut off automatically — no need to cool a room that doesn’t need it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​，

It's really nice cool down and there is just 20 min to get a more cool . Have to wait until they can feel air . Something I got a confused number for 68 or 70 temp .i think that save money energy for 70 temp . I'm not sure I did read it I hope everything work it out .

Super easy set up, great directions, and had our bedroom cooled down in about an hour. Very happy so far.

its quite big, easy to set up, white noise, works well, cools quickly, dehumidifies well, makes room very comfortable and love that it is easily moved from room to room if necessary. We have only used it for two days on and off so far!

If your going portable you want 2 hose models. Single hose kept turning off to "prevent freezing"....in a room it barely cooled to 70 degrees. This model is big but it's been on AC/Fan constant for weeks and zero issues. Quiet and works great. Good features to.

Portable is not how I would describe this. Limited and ugly in reality is more appropriate. 1. This device is so heavy you need nearly 2 people to carry it. There is no handle to lift it either. (So good luck if you have stairs). It does have wheels but thats only helpful if you have multiple spaces on the same level that have all the following criteria below. 2. You can only put this near an operable window and you have to have a plug very very very close by as he cord is so short. Making the location for his device very limited. 3. The set up is horrendous. I had an extension cord and a vent pipe and drain pipe spanning my space making it very unusable. They don't show you all that in the pictures because you would not buy it if they did. 4. It's very noisy. 5. It does blow cold air but was unable to actually cool my 200sqft space. Almost kept it because I didn't want to carry it to fed ex. But it's really not useful unless your camping and just need a cold fan.

I was really hoping this one would work because I already have two ZAFRO portable AC units, just not this exact model, and I never had this issue with those. This one turned on, the vents moved up and down, but no air came out at all. Then it showed an E0 error code right away. I tried unplugging it, changing modes, checking the settings, and making sure nothing was blocking it, but it still would not blow air. For a brand new AC unit, that’s really frustrating. I ordered a replacement because I do want this to work, so hopefully the next one is actually working. I’ll update my review if I get one that works properly. Update: As I thought the replacement works perfectly! I am so happy to receive it and on first try it started to blow cold air. I owned many Zafro products, and this one defect was just a fluke. The air conditioner also cools my whole gaming room to fast. And I love how easy it’s to install, took me 5 minutes just to install it. Definitely recommend for these hot summer months.
