I love it. It wasn't difficult to put together. All the pieces were labeled. All the pieces were included. All the nuts, screws, etc. were labeled and included. I used an electric screwdriver which made it easier and faster but putting it together can still be done with a manual screwdriver, no problem. The instructions were easy for me to follow but it's mostly pictures so you have to pay attention to what you should be doing. I would recommend that you DO NOT remove the labels from the pieces until the entire bookshelf is put together. It also comes with stickers that are the same color as your bookshelf. It says to put these stickers over the screws so that you don't see the screws. You don't have to put these on if you don't want to, the bookshelf looks just fine without them. But, if you want to put them on, I would recommend that you do so once the entire bookshelf is put together. You may need to unscrew something and the sticker will just be in the way. This bookshelf and the pieces to the bookshelf are VERY sturdy and VERY heavy. I put it together by myself but it was still Heavy and I'm a 33 year old man. Having 2 people is helpful. It will just be more difficult to balance the pieces on top of each other by yourself, but it can be done. You will also need quite a bit of space to put it together as well. You have to assemble all the pieces into 3 sections of the bookshelf and then place those sections 1 on top of the other. With one person, it will also probably take a while to put together. I started around 2 or 2:30. And I got done somewhere around 9 or 9:15. That is me working by myself and working straight through with no breaks. But it's all worth it! The bookshelf is beautiful, sturdy, functional and it frees up and saves you SO much space.

Exactly as described! Took about 3 hours to build it, but instructions were clear and easy to follow. A second person is ideal for stacking once the main parts are built but would likely get in the way for the bulk of building but perhaps that’s just me. Not a good first piece of furniture to build though 🤣. My son is thrilled to have a home for all his books. Easy to instal the part that keeps it secured to wall as well. You do need your own screwdriver.

First the customer service is top notch!!! They were on top of it when I was missing a piece, they ensured I was updated with every step of getting that piece sent to me! This bookshelf is so much better than the pictures! It’s heavy and so sturdy! Now, the instructions are where I lose a star, sadly. I consider myself an expert at building furniture. (Takes me about 30 minutes to build an ikea dresser by myself.) The instructions to this bookshelf had me questioning my existence. They didn’t make sense, and were not very descriptive on which way the pieces went together. This bookshelf took me technically 2 days to complete. The first day I threw in the towel nearly two hours in and the second day it took me another 3 hours to complete it. Now granted I built it on my own and the last 5-6 steps say to have 2 people but those steps were the easiest out of all of them. Other than building it I love my bookshelf and I’m so excited to fill it up with books and decor!!!

I absolutely love this corner bookshelf. I ordered it in gray. It was a little hard to put together, but once I got started and got a hang of the directions I really had no trouble completing it. Nice quality. Looks great in my family room. Books, keepsakes--I can put a lot on it. Will enjoy this piece for years to come.

Having bought a house last year, my fiancee and I have put together a great amount of furniture in the past year. Although some pieces are easier to put together than others, this bookshelf was overwhelmingly difficult and took an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to put together. The instructions provided were terribly unclear, and there were not any videos or support offered online. In addition, they really need to package the pieces better. The first order had a cracked shelf. I contacted them, and they sent a new piece...also beat up though not as bad. It became such an annoyance to contact and to wait for new pieces that I finally just used the least banged up piece, so our shelf is a little ugly. They ended up refunding me only $20 for the inconvenience, which felt like a joke. I should also point out that it's a huge bookshelf, but the quality of the furniture is not worth the price I paid. We are still using this bookshelf; it certainly does its job and looks relatively nice, but if returning it were not such a hassle I would have done that and gotten a different one. I advise if you are looking at this bookshelf, to keep looking.

Purchased this for my son's room, it is extremely sturdy and well made. It also holds more than the 2 bookshelves he had before this, plus I love the rounded sides that can hold trinkets. I like it so much I might but another one for another room.

I almost did not buy this due to others' reviews; however, this is the only shelf with the measurements I was looking for, so I decided to go ahead. I am glad I did. The boards are like any other piece of furniture you buy, nothing different, compressed particle board. Just a note: avoid using power tools with this type of faux wood. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow—it's written in plain English and includes pictures. All you have to do is align the parts as shown in the images. I found the assembly to be simple, and the shelf looks beautiful. Just to clarify, I'm not a carpenter, just someone who can read and follow directions! As for value for money, the quality of items these days often doesn't match the price, yet we still purchase them because we want them. This shelf offers plenty of space and shelving. Now, I'm excited to decorate it! Good luck!

Excellent bookshelf. Very sturdy, takes a bit of time to put it together, but well worth it.

I read a lot of reviews that said it took 6-8 hours and several people to put this shelf together. Let me put your mind at ease - I am one 33 year old woman and I put this together by myself in 2.5 hours! My tips are as follows: - put it together outside or in a shed so you’ve got lots of space and don’t need to worry about dinging your walls - use a drop cloth or two to save your wood from scratches - *USE A DRILL!!* hands down, the tip that will make this the quickest for you, would be to use a drill. There are a ton of screws to be screwed in! Have a good laugh at my expense - I put it together in my shed and then waited for hubby to get home from work to help me move it. Our back door is closest to our shed so we head that way, and the shelf doesn’t fit through the door!!! 😆 thankfully the front door was a couple inches wider and we could get it in there! The shelf looks great and is exactly what I wanted for the area. It’s going to hold books, puzzles, games, completed LEGO, and other hobby stuff 😊 there were a couple scratches on the wood that I noticed as I was putting it together. However, they aren’t big enough for me to care, just figured I’d mention for people that that may bother!

Looks great once together. Took 2-3 people a couple hours to figure it out though as some pieces were marked incorrectly.

Exactly what I was looking for for my trading room.. now I need more books to fill it lol!
