AirBedz Inflatable Wheel Well Inserts, Fits PPI 101 - 104, Blue

We got this to be used in a Toyota Tundra. The first time we used it was actually tent camping and it inflated perfectly and nice and firm. It started losing air pretty quickly and I realized there was a separate nozzle that needed to be tightened as far as possible, but once it was tight no more air loss and the mattress stayed firm for 3 full days. The only complaint was the wheel inserts didn't want to stay in place very well, they were secured with Velcro but had to be re adjusted several times to stay in place. The 2nd time we used it in the truck and it fit perfect! And worked perfect! The 3rd time we used it we took the battery out to charge it and realized when we were several hours away from home that we forgot to put the battery back in place! We were super bummed until we found the secondary hole that can use a normal air mattress pump to fill, which we luckily had. It didn't fill as tightly so there was a little slack, but still very comfy and fit perfectly in the bed of the truck. The only other issue I had was when taking the battery out to charge, it was in very tight and I couldn't get it out at all, so after contacting customer service, per their advice, I used a screwdriver to pry it out. Overall I highly recommend! So much better than a standard air mattress!

They serve their purpose but are a little small for the wheel well openings. It’d be nice to have them integrated into the main mattress somehow for inflating and deflating too. I’m glad their offered as an add on but do wish they just came with the mattress to begin with.

I received them very quickly, they work ok, and better than nothing. I just discovered on a slick surface (used this time on slick tent floor, obviously they would not do this in the truck) they would slide out and off the bed when you sat on or got into the bed, they have great Velcro type attachments on the top and sides but any weight makes them pop off, so maybe on carpet they would be better? Not as likely to slide out from the bottom? will see in the future uses.....

I purchased this for my boyfriend for Valentines days and we had already had the bed that I had purchased for him for Christmas. We use this bed for every camping trip. The inserts fit perfectly. The only problem we had was the bed holding air, which would make the inserts fall out. My wish or suggestion would be that where the inserts attach would be stronger and more sturdy. We love this bed and the fact that you can use it more than just in your truck bed.I would recommend this product to a friend.

I ordered a mattress and got the wheel well inserts :-( they look good and durable wrong item.

Its a little hard, use a foam pad on top helps

So far so good. The only drawback I can see is it requires a separate inflation device to blow them up.

We used this last summer with our Truck tent and it was AWESOME! there was a bit of room at the foot of the air mattress for our shoes and luggage. The only problem I had was our nylon sleeping bags sliding on the airbedz surface but this can be remedied with a different type of sleeping bag or putting a sheet or something between the airbedz and sleeping bag. It also held air like a champ!

Came as described and fits perfectly. Well built!
