UPDATE: after leaving the original review the seller contacted me and gave me a number of different visual instructions and even though it took me numerous attempts as it was somehow really stuck, I was finally able to open the lid I loved the look and the ease to open and close the top initially but then I realized that there is really no good way to clean the top and each time I washed it, water was being retained inside the lid between the rubber gusset and the metal part so it was going to get moldy and gross with stale water. I tried every possible way to really get all the water out and it just didn’t work.

Cute and quality container for little ones. Good insulation, easy to wash. Design is so cool - my toddler loves it. I pack a hot meal on it to his daycare. He can easily open and close it. Made easy to use and good value for money.

Works great for PreK lunch as easy to lift handle to open with little hands. No twisting required. Wash up nicely.
