He felt empowered because he could check in without coming home, and I didn’t panic when he wouldn’t answer after I’ve yelled for him on each corner of our block.Just throw away the “rechargeable” batteries. They won’t work anyway. But there’s no obnoxious static or ear splitting click each time.They were also great for camping when half of us wander in the woods and the other half stay at camp.Because they are so small they fit really well in his tiny hands too.
